'We need to talk. After school at the park, meet me by the weeping willow tree.'

Read 12:25pm.

I stand under the tree, drawing, waiting. It's been about 20 minutes after school ended, and as I get ready to leave, tears in my eyes, I see a figure moving toward the tree.

"I was beginning to think you were never going to talk to me" They say as they sit next to me.

"I was planning on never talking to you. You can thank Luke" I say, not looking at them.

"Y/N..."

"Why Ellie? Why did you do this to me?" I say, the tears returning.

:I don't know..." She trails off.

"Bullshit, you knew what you were doing, but you did it anyways. Do you have any idea how many nights I've cried myself to sleep, feeling all alone because everyone left me?" Anger turning in my voice. I finally muster up the courage to look her in the eyes, tears of her own pooling in her big brown eyes,

"I'm so sorry! You were right before, I was so jealous of what you and Calum had, I just wanted someone to look at me the same way he looks at you, and I thought by sleeping with him he would look at me that way, but it was only lust not love. If I could go back in time-" She sobs before I cut her off.

"But that's the thing Ellie. You can't. I can never trust you again. I lost My best friend, hell, my sister, and boyfriend over jealously. I lost the two halves that made me whole, and I could never have them back." I taste the salty mess of my ears in my mouth.

"You do know we could never be friends again Ellie?" I cry, not able to look her in the eyes as the memories of the happiness of what we had burn like a wildfire. I start hiccuping, letting out quiet sobs.

"I know...but please, forgive me" She begs, making my heart shatter.

"I can't..." I let out one loud sob, mascara running down my face.

"Y/N..."

"Ellie, I can't forgive you. Please, just leave. It hurts to look at you"

"Fine. Just don't forget the happy time we shared. I'll always be there for you, even if you think you have no one, I'll still be there." She stands up, leaving me cold and alone. I pull my knees into my chest, crying into my jeans.

"Hey, you ok?" I look up to see a girl, about my age walking over to me. She had dark hair--almost black, china doll-like skin, dark brown eyes. She looked to be about my height, 5′5, almost 5′6.

"N-no!" I cry even harder as she sits down next to me, rubbing my back.

"It's ok, it's ok. Wanna walk about it?" She gently says.

"I don't' even know your name" I whine, looking up at her.

"It's Kay. I go to your school, and I heard what happened between you Calum and Ellie. I saw her leaving here, I'm assuming you two talked?" She says, pulling me in close into a hug.

"Yeah. I wanted to tell her that we could never be friends and how much damage she caused. I lost all of my friends, everyone. I feel so alone" I cry even harder into her shoulder.

"Hey, I'm here, you're not alone. Come here" She stands up ,lifting me up with here.

"I declare myself as your new best friend. Come on, we're going to have some fun" She says, adventure and mischief in her eyes, leaving me intrigued and scared for what she has planned for the rest of the day.
