[Chapter 2] Another Problem...

Start from the beginning

"Regina!!" Robin yells. He runs up to me and kneels beside me. He helps me into a sitting position as I try to recover. I look in front of me to see a puff of purple smoke escaping the shrubs. I let out a sigh of defeat, knowing that the person hiding inside manage to escape.

"They got away," I groan. My head was pounding constantly after the sudden blow.

"It doesn't matter," Robin replies. I suddenly feel myself being lifted off the ground by Robin's arms, bridal style. "We have to get you help."

"I'm fine," I protest. But, I knew he wasn't going to take that as an answer. He ignores my plead and continues walking out of the forest, with me in his arms, in order to get to help.

~Unknown POV~

Once the purple smoke finally lifted, I tumble to the ground. My butt planted firmly into the ground and only my hands and feet were keeping me from actually lying on the dirt. I didn't have time to land "gracefully" on the dirt floor... or should I say muddy floor. So, my clothes surely would be stained by the mud. But, that's not my main concern.

I heave in steady breaths of air. That was a close one, I thought to myself, God, I'm such an idiot. She almost caught me... I should've just left the second Roland and Robin ran away.

After gazing at my surroundings, assuring to myself that I was away from any harm, I push myself from the ground, causing my hands to squish deeper into the mud, and I brush off the excess mud from my clothes, and look around at my surroundings.

At least, I'm safe... for now.

With that, I turn and make my way back to my home.

~Regina's POV~

"You know, I didn't think I would have to heal you after we finished our training sessions, but I do believe old habits die hard," Mr. Gold says. A smirk manages to creep up on his lips.

"Shut up. At least, it wasn't my fault," I snap.

"Well, nothing major is wrong the matter you. Just a little bump in the head; I did manage to ease the pain."

"Glad that magic didn't do anything serious."

"Though the way you described it, the magic that was used was strong. The force was strong enough to push a few meters away." He shakes his head. "Don't know what to expect with those."

"Great."

Then, I hear the front door-bell ring, signaling that someone entered the store. After hearing faint footsteps coming closer to the backroom, I see Emma walking through the doorway.

"You told Ms. Swan," I say, looking back at Mr. Gold.

"Actually, I did," I hear Robin say. He was standing right across from me, arms cross, while staring at me that entire time.

"Glad you're happy to see me," Emma sarcastically says, "Anyways, what happened?"

"Nothing-"

"Regina was blasted by magic, and by a strong one so it seems. We don't know who it came from, so we don't know what type of spell they used," Robin adds.

"Well, how did that happen?" Emma questions.

"Robin told me someone had planned on hurting Roland," I begin reciting the story, "So, we both went into the forest to check it out. I was able to see the toy that was used, but it was already burned to the core so I couldn't get anything out of it. Apparently, the so-called culprit was watching us the entire time, and before I was able to catch them, they blasted me. Almost broke my skull if it wasn't for the fact the dirt had already turned to mud."

"We have to go look for them."

"Good luck. They manage to teleport out of their spot. They could be anywhere by now."

"It doesn't hurt to try. They could be a huge threat."

"Doesn't matter. Just let it go, Emma. We can't be bothered with this; we'll eventually find out who it is. Either way, we have other things to worry about."

"Like what?"

"Like Henry's party. I think that's more important than anything else," I snap.

"Fine. We'll have it your way. But, don't think I'm letting this go."

"You never do, Swan."

"So, are you going to be okay?"

"For the most part, yes she is," Mr. Gold states, "But, we can't be sure. This person knew what they were doing. Let's just hope that the blast was only that, a blast."

"I thought you knew everything about magic?" Emma asks.

"Well, I do, Ms. Swan, but like I said, this person has experience with magic. They managed to not only eliminate any evidence that could've been left behind, but they also used a strong force to catapult Regina. They're amount of intelligence may be about as high as mine, and believe me, I always know what I'm doing."

"So, maybe we can trick them. Corner them unti-"

"Can we just stop talking about this person?! At least for this week," I say, "I don't need 'Emma: the Savior' running off playing hero while everyone else has to plan Henry's Birthday."

"Don't worry, I'll help," she nags.

"You better."

"Well, what are you planning for my grandson's birthday?" Mr. Gold asks.

With that, I inform him, and Robin, on what was set for Henry's big day, as well as updating Emma on what David, Snow, Henry, and I planned on doing. We still had a ways to go, but hopefully we'll make it without any more interruptions.
