When Jisung opened the door, he yelled their names excitedly, happy to see both his lover and his daughter run to him happily.
He embraced the both of them in a huge hug, giggling to himself.
"You went back sooner than expected" Minho said, smiling, as he checked the time.
"Yeppp I was lucky" Jisung smiled widely "How did it went ?" He asked
"Pretty chill" He smiled "Ava was nice enough"
"I'm a big girl !" She said with a wide smile.
"Yes you are" Jisung responded with a chuckle.
Happy, but eager to learn more, Ava hurried to take her dada's hand, and bring him to the couch.
Minho got the clue, and decided to leave for the kitchen.
A sincere dad-daughter talk had to happen, eventually.
"Dada" She called
"Yes my baby ?" Jisung smiled
"I ask something to Lino" She said, a bit shyly "He said to ask you"
"What is it ?" He asked, curious
"Do I have a mommy ?" She said
Jisung felt his mind go blank for a moment.
How was he supposed to say that ?
"Oh" He cleared his throat, visibly anxious "No, baby, I'm sorry"
"Lino say it's okay" Ava smiled
"It is, that's true" He smiled softly, Minho did good with the talk "We're good the two of us"
"And Lino !" She corrected firmly
"Yes, and Minho" He chuckled, his heart beating louder than usual "When you'll get older, I'll explain it all to you"
"Okay !"
"We're gonna eat, right ?" Jisung asked
"Yes !" She responded excitedly.
"What are we gonna eat ?" He asked.
She shrugged, before turning to the kitchen door.
"Daddy !" She called loudly.
"Wh-What did you just say ?" Jisung frowned, panicking slightly.
"Daddy !!" She called more loudly.
"Ava, there's no-"
"You called ?" Minho asked, arriving in the living room.
Jisung stared at the scene with eyes wide, completely silent.
Did he just accepted being called daddy ?
Jisung was in complete shock.
He looked in between Ava and Minho, blinking repeatdly.
"Baby ?" Minho frowned, approaching him.
"I- I'll come back" He rushed to say, standing up and running to take his coat and rushing out of the house.
Sitting on Felix's couch, he was breathless from all the running, but he explained in details what had just happened
"She called him Daddy" Jisung explained, eyes wide "And he responded ! Like it was normal !"
"Well, it's amazing !" Felix said.
"I know !" Jisung responded.
"Then why did you run away ?" Felix asked with a laugh.
"I don't know ! I panicked" He said, completely breathless.
