𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝟒𝟏

We spend the few days we have left walking around town, going to the wild beach, having brunch at our favourite breakfast place, and just spending time together.

In the blink of an eye, it was the last day of our vacation.

The last day at the cottage, which is disappointing for everybody.

We have brunch like always do, take a walk around town, swim in the pool for the last time, and pack up our suitcases.

I dreaded this moment, but I just never knew how much.

We meet downstairs and sit down on the couch. "I don't want to leave." Sarah says, rubbing her arm.

"Neither do I, but we need to go back home." I tell her.——————————————————————————
"I'm not looking forward to going back." John B says, taking a swig of beer. "Let's just stay here forever." Kiara suggests, satirically.

"That actually sounds like a great plan." Jj says, shrugging.

"Guys, I want to stay here too but we have family in the outer banks." I say, sitting on Rafe's lap.

"It's not like we can't come back, guys." Rafe mentions, proving a point. "I guess." Sarah says, grumpily.

He's right, we can always come back next summer.

"We should spend more quality time with each other. I mean, I know we hang out like almost every day but I mean.. spend time together in a way that means something." I say, smiling.

"I agree, this was really fun." John B says, patting Jj on the back.——————————————————————————
"Yeah, it was." Sarah adds, smiling at me. "Let's try to make more days like we had here at home." I tell everyone.

"We've had a rough couple of weeks, we all needed this." Jj says, smiling at Kiara. "I really hope we can do this again. Together." He adds.

"We can and I'm sure we will, I'll contact my aunt to see if it's available next summer. I might be able to get it even sooner." I say, not promising anything.

I'm my aunt's favourite niece, I'm sure she'll make an exception for me.

"I still have to pack some stuff." Sarah says, leaving the couch. "We'll all meet down here at 7 to leave for our dinner reservation." I remind everyone.

At 6 pm, we start to get dressed up. We decide to go to a fancy restaurant that we chose for the last day.

I put on my short white ruffled corset dress on, I leave my hair in my natural waves, brushing it out gently. ——————————————————————————
I put on my gold and pearl stud earrings that Rafe got me for my birthday and a pair of white heels.

For my makeup, I choose a thin brown winged eyeliner. I add light mascara and lip gloss. I spray a vanilla scented perfume on my neck.

I love this outfit!

I leave the open the bathroom door and see Rafe. he's wearing a black collared shirt, black suit pants with a black belt, a gold signet ring, and black leather shoes.

He looks so attractive.

He looks up at me as I walk over to him. His eyes dilate, admiringly.

I put my hands on his shoulder, he puts his hands on my waist.

"You look gorgeous." He praises. I blush, "Thank you, and you look very attractive." I compliment, wrapping my hands around his neck swiftly.——————————————————————————
I can smell the cologne on his body hypnotizing me.
