I get up from my bed, walking towards my bedroom window. I unhinge my window, and push it out.

I stick my head out, looking out.

I gasp silently, I see jj. "Madison..?" He whispers, as I just stare at him.

"What are you doing here, jj.." I ask him, sounding upset.

What the hell is he doing here?!

"I just needed to talk to you, Maddie." He says, begging me with his eyes. I look down, thinking about it.

I look back up at him, " just come inside." I say, moving away from the window so he can come in.
He crawls inside, brushing himself off. ——————————————————————————
I cross my arms, looking at him straight in his eyes. He takes a deep breath, starting to speak.

Can I even talk without crying?

"Look, I messed up, alright? I shouldn't have said about Rafe, and I shouldn't have said it to you." He says, taking his baseball cap off.

I sigh, uncrossing my arms.

I want to forgive him so badly, but after everything that's happened.. I needed him.

I walk up to him, "Jj, I want to forgive you, I really do. I just think I need some time.. away from you.." I say, calmly.

"What does that mean..?" He asks, his face changing to confusion. I feel my chest tightening, a lump forms in my throat. ——————————————————————————
I grab his hands, preparing myself to say what I need to say.

"I.. think we should take a break, from being friends.. not permanently, just until... until I feel like I'm stable again." I tell him.

My eyes fill up with tears as my vision starts to become blurry, Tears fall from my eyes.

"Madison.. please don't do this, I know I screwed up.
Just please give me a second Chance.." he begs. My heart breaks as I hear his voice crack.

I hate seeing him like this, but I need to take some time for myself right now..

I start to cry, letting go his hands. He gives me a melancholy look, I see a tear drop from his eyes. ——————————————————————————
"I'm so sorry, jj. I promise you, this isn't forever." I say, looking up at him.

He starts to cry silently, tears stream down his cheeks.

I take a deep breath, my lips quiver. I grab his hands, pressing them to my cheek. I close my eyes, as a tear rolls down my cheek. I kiss his hand, closing it gently. 

He inhales deeply, wiping his tears with the back of hand. I hold his hands tightly, my face softens as I start sobbing quietly.

I feel so bad for him.

I let go of his hands slowly. I look up, as I take a deep breath.

He puts his hat back on, as he starts walking towards my window. ——————————————————————————
We don't even say goodbye, he just leaves.

I feel like someone just punched me in the stomach.

I shut my bedroom window, watching him disappear into the dark of the night. I grab my phone.

MESSAGES:

Hey, Can you come over?

Rafe: Of course, baby.
