( Meryl's Pov )
I was ten when I first saw the chief's son. The chief and some other vikings had left the border of the forest after leaving me some food. When I started approaching the food, I saw him looking at me, I tried to scare him away by growling at him, I didn't startle him but he still tried to hand me a piece of bread, I was so confused about why he didn't run away from me, but when I looked in his green eyes, I saw a warm feeling that frightened me and caused me to run away as I taught it was something bad. Little did I or Hiccup know how we would change each other's lives forever...
