26.Heirloom

After eating Jungkook, father and grandfather went to the study room to talk about business. Taehyung went to his room as he had nothing to do in the study. And Mother Jeon and Lisa were chatting in the living room. Mother Jeon was telling Lisa about Jungkook's childhood stories and Ming was laughing at them. Mother Jeon also tell her about Taehyung. She told her that he did not go into business as his brother and father. He chose the entertainment industry instead.

In the entertainment industry, Jeon Taehyung is a very reputed artist. He started his career with singing and then he started doing some drama and movies. His main profession is being a singer but he is a versatile artist which had excelled in many fields. He has a big fan base. He is very popular with girls. At first father, Jeon was reluctant for him to join but later he also accepted it.

Then Mother Jeon suddenly remembered something and said, "Lisa you just wait here. I want to give you something." after saying she dashed upstairs towards her room. Meanwhile, grandfather, father Jeon and Jungkook also came. They asked Lisa about mother Jeon and she told them about her. They settled in the living room while Jungkook sat opposite Lisa from where he kept staring like her and winking at her making her blush.

Mother Jeon came downstairs, in her hand, she was holding a rectangular-shaped jewellery box. The box is made up of wood and beautifully carved. Then Mother Jeon came to Lisa and said, "Lisa this the family heirloom of Jin family. I wasn't able to give you last time when you came because at that time your relationship with Jungkook was not good. But now you both have accepted each other. My mother in law gave it to me when I came to this house and now it's my duty to give it to you. Ming, you had to keep it safe." Saying this she gave that box to Lisa.

At first, Lisa was reluctant to take this but then she hesitantly took it and said, "Mother I will keep it safe. Thank you for believing me".

When she said that, Jungkook looked at her and smiled dotingly.

Mother Jeon asked Lisa to open the box and see the item. At that time, Taehyung also came and sat there. She also wanted to see what is in that box. She sat beside Jungkook.

Lisa carefully opened the box. When she opened the box, she gasped in surprise by seeing the item inside it. She picked the item and her expression became painful and sorrowful. Her eyes started becoming teary as droplets of tears started to fell. Without her knowing, she was crying. She became so emotional seeing the item. Mother Jeon thought that she is too overwhelmed to see this heirloom. After all, it is not a piece of simple jewellery but it contains the status of future matriarch and responsibility of the household.

Everyone became surprised seeing her crying, and Jungkook panicked that why is she crying again seeing a piece of jewelry. Mother Jeon assured him that it's normal. It's a very emotional moment.

But Lisa is thinking of something else. She was not crying because they were giving her heirloom but because... it was 'hers'.
