Chapter 101

Onyx's POV
It's been weeks since, I've seen my sister. I'm not sleeping really. I'm losing my mind. I'm doing my best to not snap. I don't think I'm doing enough though. I'm holding everything in. I've had so many mental breakdowns. I'm crying more that I usually do.

"I-I can't take this! I-I miss my fuckin baby sister!"

Primrose cupped my face.

"I know. I miss her too."

I felt a tear slid down my face.

"I-it's been weeks! I-I feel horrible!"

"Nyx this isn't your fault."

"It is and...I haven't been telling you how I feel! I'm not helping get your hospital bags ready!"

"Shhhh. It's okay. I completely understand. Trust me. I-I do. Let's go for a walk. You can explain how you feel then."

"Why would, going on a walk help?"

"To help clear your mind. Maybe you'd feel better not saying this around this kids."

We went to my dad's house. Me and Primrose decided to go on the walk she suggested. She interlocked our fingers.

"I feel like a horrible brother."

"I know. I wish, I knew how to get that to stop."

"My mind never shuts up. I look for her constantly."

"Baby I know. I wish, I could help with that."

"N-no. I-it's okay. You need to focus on you."

"ONYX!"

My sister ran up to me. She jumped into my arms.

"There you are!"

"I missed you!"

"I missed you too!"

"I thought I'd never see you again!"

"I thought the same thing! You've been right under my nose this whole time?!"

"Please take me home. I-I hate this house. RIVER! IT'S OKAY TO COME OUT!"

"Oh thank god, he's with you."

"Nyx. I'm pregnant."

"Okay. Okay. Do you know far along are you?"

"No. I-I have no idea. I-I asked River's dad to get me a test. I-I just didn't tell him. I-I wanted Rivey to know first."

"I get it."

"Hey Prim!"

"Hey Lex!"

"I told River, I love him. He loves me too."

"That's great to hear."

I saw River running towards me. He started hugging me.

"I'm so glad you're both alive. We've been looking non stop for you both."

"Rivey needs to go the hospital. He keeps getting hurt."

"Y-yeah. I-I kinda do."

"Baby call the cops and get them here."

I sat down on the concrete. I didn't want to let my sister go.

"Onyx...I doubt she'll tell you this so...I'm just gonna say it. My cousin Todd...he raped her."

I started holding her tighter.

"Oh god! I knew something like this, would happen!"

"She always said she wants to die."

"That's not true anymore! All I wanted, was to see you!"

"Shhh. It's okay. I'm still gonna keep an eye on you."

"I-I'm so exhausted!"

"You look like you are. Sleep as much as you want when, we get home. River your mother is looking for you. She's just in a different state right now. You can stay with us until, she comes back."

"W-where is she?"

"She went to go look for you, by some family. Your dad is one the list of suspects."

"She's not gonna find him. He's in that house. Along with my cousin."

"I don't think it's safe for these two here. Let's take them back to my dad's."

I stood up. We started walking back to my dad's.

"D-did the baby come yet?"

"No. Not yet. We've got about 5 weeks left."

I knocked on my dad's front door. My dad opened the door.

"Hey! Look who I found!"

I put my sister down.

"Dad!"

She started hugging him.

"W-where were you?"

"She was a few blocks down."

"Who's that boy behind you?"

"Oh! That's my boyfriend River!"

"Aunt Lexie!"

My sister ran inside. Marionette ran up to Alexia. She crouched down and started hugging her.

"Dad? Do I still have clothes in my room?"

"You should."

"I feel gross. I have to shower."

We heard sirens and I went outside. I saw them going down the block.
