Onyx's POV
"I don't think people thought, your reason was dumb."

"With my luck, they probably did."

She started dragging the tips of her fingers, up and down my cheek. I yawned. My eyes started to get heavy.

"Are you trying to get me to sleep?"

"No. Not really. I'm just making sure you're calm."

"Well, it's working."

"Good."

"Who do you think Roxie will look like?"

"We already have a mini you running around. Maybe we'll have a mini me."

"Do you think, she'll look a bit like Mari?"

"That's a good question."

"How long as she been napping for?"

"45 minutes maybe? I'm not too sure."

I heard footsteps coming down the stairs. I sat up. I saw Marionette walking towards the couch while, rubbing her right eye.

"Hey princess. How was your nap?"

"Okay."

When she got up to the couch, she started trying to climb up. I picked her up. She started hugging me.

"Are you okay daddy?"

"Yes. I had a bad dream. Primy was cheering me up."

"Do you feel better now?"

I nodded.

"Yes princess. I do. Thank you."

She smiled at me.

"You're welcome! Hey daddy? Can I ask you something?"

"Yes. Sure."

"Do you think Rocky is going to like me?"

"I think, she is going to love you."

"Y-you do?"

"Mhm." I said as I moved a piece of hair out of her face.

"I can just tell that, you're going to be the best big sister ever. Don't tell Aunt Ty Ty about this. I've told her that she is multiple times. She might argue with you."

"I've been told it too. Don't worry. I won't get mad at you."

"You won't?"

"I won't."

She started hugging Primrose.

"Yay!"

Primrose smiled.

"You're the best mommy ever!"

Primrose started holding her tighter.

"Thank you. That means a lot to me."

She looked up at me. She had a tear sliding down her  face. I wiped it away.

Damn.

I wonder if she thought, she'd never hear that.

She kept smiling.

"I love you MJ."

"I love you too mommy!"

She's fully accepted her as, her mother.

Seeing how the two of them are together, makes my heart smile. I started hugging them. Primrose broke down.

"Oh no! Did I upset you?"

"No no. I'm just really happy. Sometimes, people get so happy that, they cry. This..well this is one of those times."

Marionette kissed Primrose's stomach.

"I love you Roxie! And I love you daddy!"

"I love you too sweetie."

Someone knocked on the front door. I got up and walked over to it. When I opened it, I saw boy I didn't recognize. He scanned my body.

"Uh..can I help you?"

"So YOU'RE the dude, dating my step sister?"

"Huh? I'm sorry wh-who are you?"

"I'm Alister Dawson. I assume you're the boy who keeps cheating death."

"I wouldn't call it "Cheating"."

He rolled his eyes.

"So am I at the right house or not?"

"Uhhh. Wrong house. I have no idea who you're talking about."

I went to shut the door but, he put his hand on it.

"Nice try. I can smell your lies."

"Huh? Is that even possible?"

He shoved me into my house. I was thrown up against the wall.

Why does this shit always happen to me?!

I'm tired of this crap!

He held me up, using my shirt.

"There's a few things I hate. One of them is..lies. Spill it."

"Get off me! Get outta my house!"

He slammed my head against the wall. My head started pounding.

"Oh my god! Baby!"

I saw Primrose. She ran up to me.

"Put him down! Who the hell do you think you are?!"

"Nice to meet you too baby step sister."

"Y-you're his son, aren't you?"

"Wow. You're smarter than this moron."

"Put him down NOW!"

He started laughing.

"You seriously think, I'll listen to someone that's younger than me? That's hilarious!"

"Put my fiancé down RIGHT NOW! I swear I'll call the fucking cops!"

He let me go. I slid down the wall onto the ground. She knelt down in front of me.

"Oh god! A-are you okay?!"

"I-it's probably just a headache. I'm fine."

I stood up slowly. I stumbled over to the couch. I laid down on the chaise part. I covered my eyes with a pillow. I felt someone tap my arm.

"Hm?"

"Mommy said this might make you better."

I moved the pillow. I saw Marionette holding an ice pack. She put it on my head.

"Thank you princess. I hope she's right."

I held my arms out. She laid in them and got comfortable.

"Make sure that stays on your boo boo daddy!"

"Shhh. Please do not yell. I'll make sure it stays."

I kissed the top of her head.

"Who is mommy talking to?"

"No idea. Can you get a blanket for me? The light is hurting my eyes."

"Mhm!"

She jumped up. She ran to the other side of the couch and got a blanket. She ran back.

"Next time, no running on the couch."

"Sorry daddy."

She handed me the blanket. I covered my eyes.
