                                  Onyx's POV
"Princess..what did Mason do?"

"He hurt me."

"Where and how?"

"Onyx he slapped her. I heard it."

"What?! MJ come here."

She ran up to me. I picked her up and put her, in my lap.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"It was a secret."

"Princess...you cannot keep secrets from me. Especially things like, someone hurting you. Mom do you know where he is?"

"Last I heard, he was in prison."

"Good. Right where he belongs. Is this the only thing, he's done?"

Marionette nodded. I kissed the back of her head.

"Good. Mom..why didn't you do anything to stop this?"

"It happened so fast."

"Why has it taken me this long..to find out?"

"Mason said to not tell you."

"Oh? So you listened to him? Hm..nice to know."

"Onyx...you're not listening to me."

I cleared my throat.

"Yes. I am. MJ, how's your brother and mommy?"

"Sleepy."

"Why aren't you asleep?"

"I couldn't sleep."

"How come?"

She shrugged.

She picked her head up.

"You scare me Grandma Cece. You always let us get hurt."

Should I let her keep going?

"Daddy's the best."

"I see that. Marionette I'm sorry."

"You made daddy think, he'd lose me."

"Uh princess Marionette..let's not go there."

She crossed her arms.

"Hmph!"

"Marionette Jane, don't create an attitude."

"Daddy? What is your leg doing?"

"It's bouncing."

"Why?"

"My anxiety makes it happen."

She hopped off my lap.

"You need your medicine then!"

"Sweetie...I'm alright for now."

"Mommy always says "Take it before, it gets worse.""

"Oh god. You're pulling that card on me?"

"Mhm!"

"Ugh."

I heard someone running down the stairs.

"Daddy! Mommy needs you!"

I jumped up. Malakai ran into my legs.

"Mommy's crying!"

I started running. I tripped running up the stairs. I got up and ran into my room. Primrose was sitting up against the wall. I could hear her hyperventilating. I ran up to our bed. I jumped onto it. I grabbed Primrose and put her in my lap. I started rubbing her back.
