"Y-you're lying. Y-you've gotta be."
"I-I'm not lying. I-I don't lie."
"H-how do you know?"
"She's on her way here. I-I told her that you needed to rest but, she didn't listen. I-I can you that lie I used when Christopher came here. Do you think...you're ready?"
"Is he clean?"
"She didn't say. Would you be able to tell?"
"Well...I guess we are about to find out."
"Why are your shirts off?"
"We're...comparing scars."
"Huh?"
"They stabbed him in the chest."
"O-oh god."
I helped Malakai put his shirt back on.
"Go play with your sister."
Malakai jumped off my bed and raw away.
"I'm gonna slap Cody."
I started to stand up. Primrose ran over to me.
"Lay down Nyx."
"No. I told you, I'd slap him right? You said you'd let me."
"I-I know. I just didn't think..."
"That'd I actually do it?"
"Well...yeah? Yet again...we're talking about you."
"Why are you doubting me?"
"I'm not! I-I just thought y-you're pissed!"
"You trust me right?"
"Why do you keep asking me that? You know I do. W-what if this backfires? What if..he kills you?"
"I-I didn't think about that."
"You gotta stop being this...this."

"Someone who is asking to die! Why do you think, I worry about you? What do you need? How can I help?"
"I-I don't want to die anymore."
"Then, why the hell are you acting like this?"
"It's what I'm fucking good at okay?! All I fucking know is, how to fuckin protect everyone!"
"Onyx calm down. Let's calmly talk about this."

"No! You're not! Can we not turn this into an argument? You're gonna scare the kids!"

"I-I didn't mean to."
"You really want to fuckin hit him? Go ahead! I-I can't do this! I cannot BELIEVE I'm doing this but, you gotta pick. Do you want to go back to being the Onyx I know or...do you want to go back to how you were when I met you?"
"I-I'm the Onyx you know!"
"You're not acting like it!"
