Your Pov:

Your younger self would have laughed at you if you if she saw what you were currently doing.

"Stop!" Lizzie scolded as you continued to throw seeds at her. She grabbed a bunch and stormed towards you, you moved in panic but she soon catched up to you "You're wasting them!" She said as she threw strawberry seeds at you.

"You're doing the same thing!" You covered your face with your arms, moving them in front of your face. You took the opportunity to tackle her when she paused for a second to think. You grabbed her by the waist and pushed her down to the ground with you, making her yelp.

You moved on top of her, fingers sneaking up to her waist. She squealed when your fingers danced on her sides, joyous laughter falling from her mouth "S-stop!" She gasped, eyes closed, breathing ragged.

"Never! This is your punishment for throwing seeds at me!" You responded. "You did it first!" She argued, trying to pry you away from her.

Eventually, she managed to get a hold of your hands, locking them behind your back. A smirk painted your lips at your new position. You on top of her, hands locked behind you, while the woman under you struggled to calm her breathing.

Not that it mattered. As soon as she opened her eyes, her breath was stolen away. You could see it clearly, you saw how surprised she was, how shy her face got. She let go of your hand, pushing you away from her.

"You are not fair.." She glared at you. Your laugh echoed through the whole garden, a smile forming on her lips despite her wanting to suppress it.

"Oh, I'm not fair? You are the one who started calling me names!" Her face changed from happy to mad.

"You started throwing seeds at me first!" She informed, striding towards you. "You threw seeds at me which is why I called you names!" She grumbled, leaning up to you on her tiptoes. She looked cute rather than intimidating.

Not wanting to back down, you leaned down to her, an eyebrow raised as you examined her reaction. Like you expected, a thin sheet of redness colored her cheeks, eyes looking away. She made a sound of annoyance as she walked away, whispering–probably a few curse words—as she walked away.

"What? I didn't quite catch that!" You teased, but she ignored you and continued working. A laugh slipped out of your mouth, shaking your head in amusement.

"How long are you gonna ignore me?" You asked with a laugh. She faced away from you, eating a spoonful of ice cream. "What more should I do to make you talk to me again, M'lady?" She looked at you with a glare, not impressed by your antics.

"Alright, alright. I'll stop," You laughed.

"Where should we go next?" You asked seriously, looking around the area. You took Lizzie out on a walk in the park, grabbing ice creams after. She refused to talk to you but you knew she was just playing with you.

As you looked around, you caught a glimpse of a sign that seemed all too familiar. "Lizzie, follow me. I know where we can go" You told her, grabbing her hand and walking towards the memorable place.

"Where are we going?" She questioned. "A place I used to go to as a kid." You smiled, excitement flowing through and from you.

"Uh, I'm not sure about this..." She hesitated, looking nervous. "It's okay, I got you. I know how to do this. Just trust me" You reassured her, wanting for her worries to disappear.

With a hand on her shoulder, the other on her arm, you helped her slowly touch the floor. A terrified look painted her face as you tried to pull her slowly. Both her hands were on your shoulders, nails digging into your shirt to your skin.
