Your pov:

"Babe!" You turned around with a smile. "Callie!" She jumped in your open arms, hugging you tightly. "Oh, I've missed you!" She pinched your cheeks before pressing a kiss on them. "It's been just a week, Cutie" She grinned like a kid at you.

Pouting, you replied, "So? A week is too
long! " She bit her lip to stifle her laugh. "Whatever you say, Cutie" Her smirk was adorable as she hugged you once more.

Finally letting her go, you said, "I have to go to work, wanna come with me?" It was her turn to pout. "You're going to work? But I just got home!" You held her once again in your arms, feeling a bit guilty about having to leave her here despite her sudden arrival. "I have to..you know I can't skip work" You tried to persuade her but it obviously didn't work.

"Fine. Go to work then" You bit your lip anxiously. You didn't wanna make her mad but you knew that if you didn't go to work, you'd be using your last vacation day—you really didn't wanna use it on something like this.

"What are you waiting for? Go to work." You sighed and dropped your bag. "No. I'll stay," she smiled. "Really?!" Her smile caused one to form on your face as well. "Yes, really. Let me just call in so they wouldn't worry."

"Make it quick! The show will start without you!" You heard her shout from downstairs. You went to your shared bedroom with a sigh. You lazily grabbed your phone to call your manager.

"Hey boss," You greeted. "Let me guess, she wants you to stay home again. I'm telling you, Y/n, she's too controlling. You need to-" You cut her off. "I know, I know. You tell me that every time I call you." You couldn't help but laugh at her reaction.

"Because every time you call me it's because of her." You ran a hand through your hair. "What is it this time? She feels sick? She's jealous? You're spending too much time at work? What?" You could tell how frustrated she sounded but you couldn't blame her.

You used up all of your vacation days because of her. You couldn't really say 'no' to her. "No, she just got home from her business trip so she wants me home, to bond. She missed me." You can tell from the other side of the phone that she was not amused. "So she can go on business trips but you can't even go to work?"

"The cafe is literally a 25 minute walk!" You sighed once more, "I know...just let me be. I'll see you on monday."

"You do know that this is your last vacation day, right?" You grumbled. "Of course I do! I don't even wanna use it! I'll just see you at work" You hang up, feeling frustrated.

Usually if you do that to your boss, they'll fire you but that wasn't the case with you. You and your boss, Michelle, had been friends for a long time now. You guys were friends from college and had been friends ever since then.

You quickly changed your clothes and got out. "Who was that on the phone?" Callie questioned. "My boss, I called to inform her about my day-off" She nodded and patted the seat next to her.

"What are we watching?" She shook her head, making you confused. "I just wanna stare at you while I eat" Your brows met but a smirk formed on your lips. "Why?" She shrugged. "Because I want to" She snickered at you. You chuckled. "Go ahead, stare at me all you want~" She slapped your arm with a laugh.

You stared back at her, admiring her features. Blue-green eyes, and chocolate-brown hair. For a split second she looked like someone you once liked. Someone you once hoped would be your lifetime partner. That was stupid, of course.

Nothing goes well with celebrities, really. Speaking of, you were reminded of Lizzie. It's been at least three months since you've heard from her. She doesn't answer your calls, nor responds to your texts; it's like she just disappeared from thin air.

She never visited you, not even a single email came from her. It's like she just forgot about you completely. Instead of sulking over it, you moved on. Why would an actress ever want to be friends with a normal person like you? That would be quite cliche if you ended up together, right?

Since it's been three months, a lot has changed. You moved to a different house, you're in a band too and you're learning how to bake. You're the lead vocalist in the band but you sometimes play around with the guitar. Your wish of playing in a band again finally came true.

Still, you were working at the coffee shop just to make extra money; to be able to provide for your girlfriend and you. You guys have been dating for at least 2 months now. You guys met at the coffee shop, she was ordering and you were the one on the counter.

She said your visuals caught her eye and mesmerized her. Ever since then, she started coming to the coffee shop to see you. She never approached you, though. She just stared from afar, watching you serve customers and clean tables. Your colleagues liked to tease you about having a secret admirer so you decided to change it. Instead of just having her stare from afar, you had her smiling at you and blowing kisses. It was nice.

Lizzie's Pov:

"Where have you been?!" I asked-shouted at him "We had band practice. I told you about it already." He reasoned, walking past you. "No, you didn't tell me you had practice today!" I was fuming. I was so worried about him when he didn't come home last night. I tried calling all of his friends but their phones were turned off. Bullshit.

He rolled his eyes at you. "I told you last night. You were just too caught up in your work to even listen to me" My fists clenched as I watched him walk away. "You weren't with me last night!" His body froze for a second. "You were out with your friends last night, remember?" His back was facing me so I couldn't tell what his reaction was "Who did you tell, Robbie?" My arms crossed on my chest, my heart pounding inside my chest. Who was he with last night?

"I don't know. I'm tired. Let's talk tomorrow. You have work too. Let's go to bed."He said, calmly walking up the stairs. I couldn't help but scoff. This wasn't the first he mistook for somebody else. He's been coming home late, claiming to have been out with his friends or band practice. He must've thought I was stupid.

I knew how it started and knew how it ended. It started with lies and ended with the truth. There was a pattern, and he's stupid to think that it'll work on me. But I could be wrong too. He could really be just tired. He could've answered wrong because he was sleepy or his brain wasn't functioning well. Or maybe not. Either way, It drove me mad.

After locking the door and turning off the lights, I went up to our shared bedroom. I called his name to which I got silence in reply. His clothes were scattered on the bed so I decided to pick them up. While picking his jacket up, a photocard fell. Unbothered, I picked it up

All Too Well.
