A/N: This is just a continuation of the previous chapter :)

Your Pov:

The show was long forgotten and somehow, you found yourself stroking Lizzie's hair as she slept on your lap. She was lying on her back, lips formed into a smile, eyes closed shut. She looked so serene. She looked so relaxed, like nothing in the world mattered. She looked so angelic, so dreamy, so enchanting. You were enchanted by her. Her wavy blonde hair falling mindlessly as you continue to caress her hair. Fingers light on their touch, tapping her scalp from time-to-time.

You grab the remote from beside you, turning it off and grabbing your phone. You opened up a playlist called 'Lost In Translation' putting the playlist on shuffle. The first song that played was Blondie by Current Joys. The intro started playing, and you sang along when the lyrics came.

There are flowers in my heart

They're growing thorns and it hurts

Every time

You're around

We make up
I feel down

As you sang, your hands continued their ministrations on her head, now gently massaging her head.

And I won't

See you again

You're not a person

You're my friend

If we do

Just by chance

Can we kiss?

Can we dance?

As the song slowly came to an end, Lizzie shifted underneath you. Now lying on her side, arms wrapping loosely around your waist. Her head was buried in your stomach, fingers locking against each other behind you.

A soft smile formed on your lips for the 100th time this day, silently wishing this moment would never end. A moment like this comes only a few times in somebody's life. If you're lucky and you find the right person for you, you'll get moments like this daily. But you were never lucky.

I can tell that the grass is greener
On the other side, with you

I wouldn't know what to do without you

Stay by my side, eternally

'What Would I Do? by Strawberry Guy' started playing.

What would I do

Without someone like you?

What would I do

Without someone like you?

What would I do

I can tell that the water's clearer
On the other side, with you
I know you care about the faults in my life
Just promise me this, stay with me

You let your eyes close, burning the moment in your mind. Hoping you can relive it when you need to. Soon, you found yourself drifting to sleep, hands tucked in Elizabeth's hair, your breathing mirroring hers.

The last thing you heard was Softcore by The Neighbourhood playing.

The sound of the door shuffling woke you up. You brows furrowed for a second, wondering who it could be. Then all of a sudden, you realized who it was. Robbie.

"Liz wake up...Lizzie wake up! Robbie's home" You shook her. To no avail, you looked back at the door, you considered just pushing Lizzie off of you but you thought that that might be rude. So you did the only thing you could think of; fake sleep. Exactly, you heard the door unlock, his footsteps getting closer and closer. You heard him shuffling around, probably taking off his coat and hanging it.

As his steps got louder, your heart beat sped up, anxiety filling your whole body. He was moving towards you until...he stopped. You guessed that he saw you two...because of the silence.

"Elizabeth?!" He half-shouted. Lizzie sat up, surprised by the voice, rubbing her eyes. She turned around to face the voice, face dropping when she saw him "Who the hell is she?!" Lizzie sighed, standing up to walk over to him. You stopped her, grabbing her by the wrist and saying, "I'll go and give you some privacy. I'll go to the guest room" She nodded at you, smiling as you walked up the stairs.

Lizzie's Pov:

"Let's keep it down. I don't-" He looked so angry, fists clenched and face red from anger. What the hell was his problem? He's acting like he hasn't been away for nearly  days!  "Are you not gonna tell me who she is?!" So much for quiet. "She's a friend, Robbie." He scoffed

"A friend?! You were lying on her lap!" I rolled my eyes at him, frustration growing in me "So what?! Friends can't do that?!" He looked at me with disgust "No!"

"So you can stay at another girl's house for two nights without even contacting me?! I can't lay on her lap but you can sleep in another persons house?!" Cheat. Cheat was the word I wanted to use.

"I-" He looked taken aback as I shouted back at him. Two can play this game "You what?! You couldn't even text me?! A single text, Robbie! A single text was all I asked for!" I walked over to him "You don't have the right to tell me what to do when you can't send a single fucking text!"

He couldn't utter a word. I was right. I turned around to smirk but his arms wrapped around me. For a moment there was guilt, but I had enough. I'm done being so forgiving. He had tested my patience and now I've had more than enough.

Your Pov:

You couldn't hear much of what they were saying but one thing was for sure is that they're definitely not happy. This was the first time you heard Lizzie shout, you wondered what made her so mad she needed to shout on top of her lungs.

As quick as it started, it ended. The shouting disappeared and silence was the only thing you could hear. You wanted to get out of the room and check if something was happening but..you didn't wanna be nosy so you just stayed put.

Not even a minute after, you heard footsteps ascending towards you. The steps weren't rushed nor slowed; they're probably okay now.

"Y/n?" a soft knock brought you back to reality. The door slowly opened, Lizzie's head peeking just a bit. She smiled at you before fully entering "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah...sorry you had to hear that.." She lowered her head shamefully "I didn't really hear anything, as far as I can tell, your walls are pretty thick" You tried to lighten her mood but it didn't seem like it worked.  She sat beside you, lowering her head onto your shoulder.

"I wanna go back to sleep," She yawned "Let's go back to sleep then," She went to lay down, repeating your earlier position; her head on your lap, your fingers tangled in her hair, breath's following each other's rhythm.

"Where's Robbie going?" You asked in a quiet manner "He's staying at a friends...it's-" She paused to yawn "It's a birthday party or whatever.." she continued, turning to hug your waist. Why would he leave after they just fought?

"Did he tell you who the friend was?" You felt her shake her head against you "Hmm? No...don't you find that suspicious?" Her answer caught you off guard "I don't really care.."

"You don't care? But he's your boyfriend.." You waited for a reply but didn't get any. You pushed her hair aside, seeing her-once again-sleeping face. You weren't surprised when a smile crept up your face.

Your smile only widened when her lips parted slightly, releasing low snores. You caught yourself smiling like an idiot, looking away with redness on your cheeks. And when you did, you saw your reflection on the nearby table.

It was a long vanity mirror, hanging on the wall, and there you saw what you and Lizzie looked like. You stared at the sight, taking a mental picture of the moment. It's been so long since you felt like this. So long since you felt like home.

Delicate.
