Your Pov:

"Would that be all?" You asked, smiling at her while pulling out her receipt "Can I..get a picture with you? I'm a really big fan!" She looked at you with hopeful eyes, pleading you to agree. "Sure! No problem!" You responded with a smile.

She posed with you, leaning in closer to her. She quickly snapped the photo, thanking you over and over again "That's the 10th one this morning, I can't wait to see how many more comes" You rolled your eyes, grabbing a few cups and stacking them.

It became pretty normal for customers to ask for pictures and autographs from you whenever they see you at the shop. It's one of the few reasons why CafeRose is trending again. Being in the band—which has been growing continuously—attracted people to visit you when you're on the clock at the coffee shop.

"Are you really gonna keep count?" You sneered at her, watching her grin enormously at you "Of course! I made a bet after all," She boasted. Stupid bet.. "You're just jealous you couldn't join" she smirked at you, causing you to scoff at her.  "And why would I be jealous?" You retort.

She made a 'hmph' sound before she entered the kitchen area. Nico loved teasing you, it was like a daily thing for her. But you were slowly getting used to her tactics and as days passed, you found ways to tease her back.

"You know," You heard from behind you "It's no fun when you talk back" Kai informed, walking towards you. "It's fun for me," She laughed. "What?" You raised a brow at her whilst she shook her head. "Nothing, let her have her fun from time to time. But do tease her back, it's funny to see her all flustered" She said while grabbing two trays with orders on top of them. You laughed at what she said.

It's been nearly a month since Callie got arrested and life really couldn't get any better. Everything was slowly falling back on track, re-applying at CafeRose and getting your position back in the band. Bit by bit, everything was all coming together.  As for Callie, she's currently serving her 3 years jail time. After a little digging, the police found out that you weren't the only one who was abused by Callie. They gathered information from past victims and used it to press charges.

And for Lizzie, you two have been getting closer and closer. There are times where she'd stay over at your new place and hangout. You decided to sell your house, buying an apartment near the studio. Sometimes she'd randomly show up at your workplace, visiting you and keeping you company. Though things were going great between you and her, her relationship with Robbie seems to be the exact opposite.

It happened a few times, when she would knock on your door in tears, complaining about how Robbie was never there and how Robbie spends more time with his friends than her. And by the way she explained Robbie's behavior, it was pretty clear to you what he was doing. You advised her to talk about it to Robbie and see what happens.

You knew from the start that something was wrong with him, he was gone for days when you stayed over at Lizzie's. At some point in the past, you expected something like this to happen; a fallout. He was always fishy in your eyes and seemed like he was always hiding something.

You knew Lizzie wasn't naive, and you also knew that Lizzie was observant and easily paranoid. It got you thinking how Lizzie didn't have a clue on what he was doing; she never  even suspected it. It was like the thought that Robbie might be doing shit behind her back never crossed her mind. It was always just 'I trust him' and never 'He's lying'. She never mentioned anything about him cheating, she just ranted. You sometimes wondered if she already knew and was just acting, waiting for the right time to execute her revenge plan.

But you also knew that Lizzie wasn't much of a revenge person. She was mature and organized. You knew that something else was going on with Robbie and you tried your best to convince Lizzie about it to protect her but she always just brushed the thought away. Acting like it wasn't possible.

As the day passed, you had a few fans come in, asking for pictures and autographs. You really owed Lizzie a big one. You knew she was secretly promoting your band; mentioning you in her interviews and always finding ways to show up at your shows and concerts.

"Who won?" You queried, looking at them. "What?" Nico glanced at you. "Who won the bet?" Nico suddenly rolled her eyes with a hiss. "None other than the fortune-teller, Charles" You laughed at her reaction, shaking your head.  "I still don't get why you guys even bother, after all, you all knew he was going to win"

"It's not about winning or losing, it's about having fun" Nico reasoned, "You have fun losing money?" You raised your hands up when she glared at you "Don't you have a concert to go to or something?"

"I do indeed, so bye!" She waved you goodbye, shouting goodluck before the glass door closed.

You had a show to go to, just a little event to celebrate your achievement. The fanbase of the group was slowly growing, getting bigger as time passed by. It was all thanks to Lizzie. You really owed her a lot.

She shared your new songs to her friends—whom were also artists—and forced them to listen to your songs; forced them in a joking manner, of course. Recently, you released two new songs. One titled 'Single In September' and the other 'Just Friends' both were inspired by the current happenings in your life.

Lately you found out that writing made your problems less heavier and made them easier to deal with. Writing songs has been your coping mechanism ever since you were young. And because of that, you officially became the band's song writer. You wrote the lyrics while Kylie, the drummer, helped you compose and produce it.

You weren't going to lie, your newest release 'Just Friends', was inspired by a special someone. Who may or may not be Lizzie. The more time you spent with her, the more your feelings grew. You tried to stop it, you really did...but it just didn't work. You knew she had Robbie but things weren't going the best for them either...

Sometimes, you found yourself smiling when she would knock on your door, in tears, looking like a mess. But she never really did. She looked the prettiest in her most vulnerable moments. You became Lizzie's new home. Especially when her previous one was out in a bar somewhere.

Life seemed to be going  exactly how you wanted it to be. Everything seemed easier now. It felt like the waves finally calmed.

Your phone rang, "Y/n? Where are you?" You heard Aleisha's voice on the other line.  "I'm on my way"

Maybe it could stay like this for a while.

Change.
