Goodbye Doesn't Mean Forgetting: Part 22

Start from the beginning

"So yeah...I don't know what happened really..." Said a voice I recognized, walking around the corner.

Ella shoved me into her dressing room, pushing me to the floor. I pinned my ear to the door to hear Ella talking to someone. I knew that voice. It was JJ! I tried to keep as quiet as possible.

"I'll see you later then" Ella said, and I heard the footsteps down the hallway.

"LOUIS!" Ella shouted.

Slowly the door was pushed open, Ella popping her head around.

"I'm sorry" she said, putting her hand out to help me up, I took her hand put pulled her down to the floor with me, us both laughing hysterically. Louis was stood at the door, shaking his head but in reality, he couldn't help but laugh.

"So you're the future Mrs Hamblett then??" Louis asked, putting his and out to help us both up.

"You could say that" I replied with a laugh.

"Well we've organised a makeover for you with Ella, they should be ready for you now and you wont get bothered by the boys"

"Thankyou!" we both said simultaneously, following Louis to the make-up room.

For two hours, Ella and I were pampered. We had our hair done by Jamie Stevens who coudln't help but laugh when I told him some good comebacks for JJ. He was so lovely, he even told me about JJ's 'essex quiff' which no one really understood. Then we got our make up done by the make up artists. Ella and I singing to San Fransisco by Cascada because it reminded us of when we were younger. Then it came to costume, Ella's had already been picked out but then it came to me, what would I wear. Ella and I were let loose in the costume room, picking out different dressed and putting them up against me to check that they would suit me. Finally we settled on a white dress with a pair of flats and a blazer. We scurried back to Ella's dressing room. I went into the bathroom to get changed and she waited outside to see the results.  I slipped on the white dress, the pumps and the blazer, checking myself out in the mirror. I looked lovely, Jamie had done wonders with my hair and the make up artists really made me look like a different person. I unlatched the door and walked out. Ella was already in costume ready for the show, she looked stunning but her mouth dropped when she saw me.

"Look ok I suppose" she joked.

"Oh thanks, you too" I said and giggled.

Ella grabbed her camera and we started to take silly photos but we took some nice ones too. It was like having the girly friend that you do everything with. I was so happy to be here. I hated going home.

The speaker came on in the room telling all of the acts that they were needed and that it was showtime in 5 minutes. Ella grabbed her microphone pack and was about to rush out of the door.

"Ella! What am I supposed to do?"

"Follow me" she said.

She took me down the corridor, walking past Nicole's dressing room, she stopped us.

"Erm, excuse me, can I ask where you got your dress?"

"m..m..me?" I stammered.

"Yeah honey, don't be nervous"

"I..I..I got it from the costume room"

"You look beautiful" she said.

"Thankyou, I..I..I love your music"

"Aw thankyou sweetie, how come you're here with Ella?"

"She's JJ's girlfriend" Ella said.

"Ohh the Jockey Jamie, hmm I know him, he's lucky to have a beautiful girl like you"
