In this crazy world, everyone is born with a timer above their head and a soulmate. That timer works so that only that person and their soulmate can see it. When the timer reaches 0, then you've met your soulmate.
My timer is at 0. But I haven't met my soulmate.
It seems impossible, but it's true. All my life, the timer has been at 00:00.
Over all my 16 years of existence, if someone knew about my timer, they'd endlessly sympathize and bug me about it.
I hated that, I hated the fact that I had to be bugged by everyone because of a stupid timer!
And most importantly... I hated the fact that I probably had no soulmate.
My parents have taken me to numerous doctors and such to ask why I have no soulmate, and each time the awnser was the same.
"The boy probably has no soulmate."
Those words, those 6 damned words. They were the reason I had been endlessly bullied, endlessly bugged, endlessly forever alone. All because I had no soulmate.
