Goodbye Doesn't Mean Forgetting: Part 20

Start from the beginning

"You think so?"

"Yeah, maybe we could, you know, get them together?"

"That actually sounds like a good idea"

"Think about it in the morning"

"Goodnight baby, I love you"

"Goodnight, I love you too"

I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I fluttered my eyes open, wriggling to the side to try and hug JJ but he was gone. I shot up, looked around. Where was he? Why wasn't he here?. I looked at his pillow to see a note addressed to me. I opened the note and read it.

"Had to leave early this morning, early rehearsal. I know you're going shopping with Ella later so enjoy your day. Remember I love you lots, and don't go spending all the money! JJ x"

I laughed. Early rehearsals? I guess it was just part of being in a boyband. I walked into the bathroom and realised that tomorrow was the show. No wonder they had panicked rehearsals. A sickening feeling began to churn in my stomach and I remembered that the boys could go out this weekend. I hadn't heard them rehearse but I had every faith in them. Checking the clock, I knew I was meeting Ella at the reception in one hour. I took a quick shower, straightened my hair, put on a little make up and headed down to the reception. When I arrived Ella was stood waiting for me, dressed in a pair of thick tights, a black dress and her coat. I walked up to her and was greeted with a big hug.

"You ready?" She asked, exccitedly.

"Yeah! Lets go!"

We walked out of the hotel, secretly so that people didn't spot us. I had such a lovely day with Ella, shopping and laughing. She was hilarious, I don't think I stopped laughing with her. I decided to do some research and quiz her about George.

"So you and George are quite close?" I asked.

"Yeah, erm...you could say that"

"Do you like him?"

"Hell Yeah....wait...what...oh my god I just told you didn't I"

I laughed but Ella looked down, not wanting to be disappointed.

"Ella" I said, as her head slowly rose to look at me "I think George likes you too"

A massive smile grew on her face.

"You think so?"

"I've known George for years, I can tell when he likes someone just by looking at him"

She laughed, I could tell what I had said had made her really happy. We finished our coffee and headed back to the hotel.

We fell into the hotel room, joking and laughing, the boys sat around looking tired.

"I'm guessing you two had a good day then" JJ asked.

"You could say that" Ella laughed.

George's face lit up as soon as she walked into the room. I went and placed myself on JJ's knee, his arms wrapping around my waist as I kissed him gently.

"God get a room" Jaymi said.

I winked at him and he mouthed "ohh ey" back to me. Ella spent an hour in the room until she went back to her room in order to get changed for the meal that night. JJ and Josh went into the bathroom most likely fighting over the mirror. Jaymi went outside to phone Olly. George sat on the bed and picked up his guitar but I went to sit next to him.

"So how are you and Ella then?"

"Me and Ella?"

"Yeah...you like her don't you"
