Chapter 21: endless fun and troublesome problems

I woke up to a ringing from my phone. I saw my boss was calling me

"Hello?"

"Hello y/n! I know it's early but can you perhaps come a bit early today? Sun and moons upgrades are going to take longer to install. We could use the extra help. The team is on their way as we speak."

I rubbed my eyes and stretched

"Okay. I'll be there as soon as I can."

"Okay see you soon y/n!"

We then hung up and I got ready for the day.

I told my uncle but he was still half asleep when I told him. So I left a note with the breakfast I made him before I left.

I was walking to work. Sure it would take longer to get there but at least I'd still be early.

But as I was walking a car started creeping up on me I notice how close to the sidewalk it was. I decided to move farther away from the street. But when the car was next to me the window came down

"Hey y/n!"

It was ace with his older brother

"Hey Ace! Hey Deshawn!"

"Need a lift?"

Deshawn asked and I nodded.

Ace pulled me in and I sat between him and Deshawn.

"Where you guys heading to?"

"Oh we are heading to the store? Your going to the plex right?"

"Yeah that's where I was walking to."

"We'll good thing that the plex is on the way, I'll drop you off and then we'll be on our way."

"Alright we're here."

"Thanks Deshawn! I'll see you both later!"

They waved and drove off. I walked in and saw my boss talking to some employees. But then he noticed me and waved me over.

"Good morning sir!"

"Good morning y/n. I'm glad your here! We just got the upgrades. Would you mind getting sun and moon?"

"I'll go get them right now!"

I then walked to the daycare

The light were off so that meant moon was out

"Moony! Moony!"

He then picked me up from the out and pulled me up into the air

"Hey starlight."

"Hey moony, mind putting me down?"

He then set me down

"Your here extra early today. What's the occasion?"
