Goodbye Doesn't Mean Forgetting: Part 16

Start from the beginning

"Where is she?? Is she here?? Is she ok??" Exclaimed a voice.

"JJ, calm down, she'll be ok bro!"

It startled me and I slowly opened my eyes.

"She's in there with Otea, she's sleeping"

I heard the sound of footsteps on the floor, slowly walking over. JJ was stood, out of breath and as panicked as I was when I first came around. He saw that I was awake, ran straight over and gave me the biggest and most tense hug I had ever recieved. He didn't stop kissing my cheeks and my hair.

"Are you ok?? Did he hurt you??"

"I sprained my wrist when I fell coming around here but I should be ok"

He hugged me again.

"I'm never letting you go again"

He put his feet up, greeted Otea and allowed me to cuddle into him. We didn't move. It felt like we were one big family.

There was another knock at the door. I heard the sound of George's laugh and I knew that my friends had arrived. Josh, Jaymi and George walked into the room to see me with my wrist in a bandage.

"You got away then?" Said Josh.

"I did, did you??"

"I'm invincible, of course I did"

"What happened, did he hurt you boys"

"I called the police just after you left, they arrived almost immediatly. John had left so they went on a chase for him. They found him and arrested him. Now he's they're problem, he's sorted, you don't have to worry about him anymore"

"What about my mum?" I asked.

"Your mum threw him out of the house, that's why he was in a bad mood, he came after you, but he didn't get you"

"Thanks to you Josh, he didn't"

"It was nothing" Said Josh, starting to blush.

"It was mate, you were there when I couldn't be, you saved my girlfriends life, Thankyou" Replied JJ.

"Yes thankyou" I added.

We then changed the subject and started to laugh. We started to talk about how excited we were for the shows. It was going to be incredible. My four bestfriends, living their dream. It got very late and I realised the time. I needed to go back to the flat but John knew where I was. How did I know he hadn't been released? I didn't want to stay on my own again. The boys got up to walk home, I also got up and went to follow them.

"Woah, where do you think you're going?" Asked JJ.

"Back to the flat, where else am I supposed to go JJ?" I laughed.

"Here" Interupted his Mum.

"I couldn't Mrs H, Thankyou but I feel like I've been here, I'm going to have to return to the flat one day..."

"No, you're gonna stop here from this day forward. I realise you and JJ are together now, you're old enough to share a bed aren't you"

JJ winked at me.

"Yes but..."

"No buts Meg, you're staying here...George"

"Yes??" Asked George.

"Bring all of Meg's stuff around tomorrow, she's my new adopted Daughter"

I started to laugh and was hugged by Otea, she whispered for me to bend down so I did. She put her hand to my ear and whispered.

"I always wanted a big sister like you"

"Me too" I whispered back with a smile on my face.

JJ giggled. We waved goodbye to the rest of the boys and made our way back into the house. I sat down for a cup of tea with JJ and his family. We talked about JJ when he was little and the embarrassing things he did, he was turning red. I couldn't stop laughing.

"Come on, early night fo us tonight" He said, taking my hand and walking up to his room.

I changed into one of his over sized T-Shirts and walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth. Returning, JJ was already in bed. I climbed in to join him, as soon as I entered, his arms wrapped around me.

"I can't believe I'm leaving next week" He said.

"I know, but hey, I'll be coming to some of the shows and you know that Otea always has me"

"I don't want to leave you"

"But I want you to live your dream"

"I said I'd take Otea to the park tomorrow"

"Can I come?"

"Are you up too it?"

"Of course!"

"Brilliant"

I settled down, sinking my head into the soft pillow. I felt JJ's warm arms wrap around my waist and his head rest on my shoulder, his warm breath on my neck. I felt safe, nothing could touch me here.
