"Yeah, so I said you're coming to our house for tea tomorrow, finally she gets to meet you, she's so excited"
"I can't wait to meet her! I'm so excited"
I rested my head on his chest. I must have gone to sleep because the next morning, I woke up with JJ's arms still wrapped around me.
It was my first time meeting JJ’s little sister. I'd met his mother and his father but meeting his little sister was a big deal. He was so close to her and I didn’t want to mess things up.
Walking into the house, hand in hand with JJ, I heard the pitter patter of tiny feet running down the stairs. Otea ran into his arms, he picked her up and twirled her around.
“Hello princess” he said as he picked her up.
Otea was looking at me in amazement. I smiled and said.
“Hello sweetheart”
She smiled back and whispered something very loudly in JJ’s ear.
“She’s really pretty, she looks like a princess”
I couldn't help but laugh. How adorable was she?
“She’s is pretty isn’t she” JJ said and she nodded. He smiled at me.
Then she whispered something into his ear.
“Go and ask her” JJ said.
He put her down and she walked over to me, holding my hand. I crouched down to her level.
“Do you want to come and play princesses??” she asked.
“I’d love too sweetie”
I looked at JJ and asked if it was ok, he nodded and Otea took me up to her room. It was like a little girls dream, covered in pink and Disney princesses. When in there I had such a fun time, Otea did my make up, dressed me up and gave me a very cute crown. We played with her dolls and then I gave her a little makeover making her look like her favorite Disney princess, Cinderella. JJ walked in and was stunned.
“Well hello there beautiful” he said.
“Who’s she meant to be?” he mouthed to me.
"Cinderella” I mouthed back.
He looked confused and then finally clicked on. Typical JJ.
I had my tea with the family and was walked back to my flat by JJ. I gave him a quick kiss goodnight and headed off to bed.
The next few nights went well. I stayed on my own without the help of any of the boys. After a few days of being stuck in the flat, I decided to take a trip into the town for some retail therapy. I grabbed my hoodie and my bag, heading into town. I spent a good three hours looking around the shops, even buying a few things in order to cheer myself up. It was getting very late so I headed back, I needed some food. Shutting the door behind me, I slipped my shoes off feeling the soft carpet sink into my feet.
"OPEN THIS DOOR NOW MEGAN!!" Screamed a voice, banging on the door.
I slowly crept forward. Who could it be?
"OPEN IT NOW YOU LITTLE BITCH, I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE"
It was then that it clicked, I knew who was stood behind the door. John. I decided to leave the door hoping he would get the message and go away. Wrong. He started to kick the door down, I could slowly see it coming off it's hinges. Starting to panic, I hammered on the wall to try and get Josh or George's attention. They both ran out onto their balcony.
"Help me!" I shouted.
Josh jumped over the balcony, avoiding the three floor drop. He ran in, assessed the situation and screamed to George to call JJ. However, JJ was at an important meeting with Jaymi meaning his phone was switched off. The only thing I could do now was run. I got into the bedroom, packed some clothes into a bag and ran back out seeing Josh pushing against the door. It was already partly open, Johns had fitting through trying to punch Josh. I ran out onto the balcony, jumped over shortly to be followed by Josh. We immediately heard banging and smashing in the flat next door, we knew John had entered. George was already on the phone to the police. I hugged the two boys and made a run for my life. I ran down the three flights of stairs like my life depended on it, when in reality my life did depend on it. I got out into the main car park, looking for which direction JJ's house was in.
"MEGAN, DON'T YOU DARE MOVE FROM THERE"
I looked up to see John stood on my balcony, his evil eyes glaring at me. I wasn't going to listen. With that I began to run, faster and faster, speeding around corners and checking behind me to see that he wasn't following me. That was when I fell. I felt a sharp pain shoot up my wrist. I couldn't stop running, if I stopped now he'd get me. Five minutes turned into a lifetime. I don't think I had ever been as scared in my life. Finally I reached JJ's house. I banged on the door with my foot still clutching my wrist. His mum opened it and looked at me startled.
"He's.....here" I said, trying to catch my breath.
