"I know it on the guitar"
"Get your guitar George, lets try it"
George ran up the stairs and picked his guitar up, running downstairs, we could hear him strumming along. I sat and listened to the boys rehearse, they sounded incredible, the way their voices blended together.
It got to the night, the boys had packed and their suitcases were by the door, my case joined them. I didn't want to go. I was going to George's house with the rest of the boys families to find out the result and then meeting the boys at Manchester airport on their way home. Hopefully, I would be meeting them and they would be going to judges houses. We decided to have a movie night with Pizzas. I put the food in the oven with a little help from JJ when he could be bothered. George picked out his favorite horror movie and we all settled down to watch. Josh and George sat on one sofa, Jaymi sat sideways with his legs hanging over the chair and I lay on the other sofa with JJ. The film started and within the first few minutes I had screamed over 10 times. I always got scared by horror movies and the boys seemed to find it hilarious. Every time I jumped or screamed the boys fell down in giggles of laughter but JJ put his arm around me as if to let me know that everything was going to be ok. Although, I did have nightmares that night.
When the morning came, we all got ready to say goodbye to our families. George got a good luck call from his mum. I was being taken to the train station by JJ's mum straight after the airport. It would be the first time she had seen me in five years, I didn't know how she would take it. They picked us up from the house and we loaded our luggage into the car. I hopped into the car with JJ, he had his arm around me whilst my head was on his shoulder.
"Meg??" Asked his mum.
"Hey Mrs H!" I said.
"Honey! How are you? How's your mum? I can't believe, oh my gosh"
I began to laugh. We had a lovely catch up and I found out that JJ now had a little sister. I wondered why he hadn't told me. I bet she was beautiful.
When we pulled up at the airport, we walked through the gates with the boys. Before they were about to head out into the boarding area it was time to say goodbye. As each boy went to their mum, I went to George. He hadn't got his mother, but he had me and he would never lose me.
"Good luck Georgey" I said ruffling his hair.
"Thankyou bestie" He said ruffling my hair back.
Josh came and gave me a huge hug and then complimented that my hair smelled nice. Jaymi came and gave me a cuddle. I wished them both the best of luck and promised them that they would do amazing. Then JJ grabbed my hand and pulled me around where no one could see. I put my arms around his neck.
"I'm gonna miss you" I said.
"Not as much as I'll miss you beautiful"
"You'll do amazing! Good luck baby"
"I'm gonna call you every night, I couldn't cope not hearing your voice"
"Really?"
"Really...And this time I'm gonna say goodbye properly"
"What do you mean properly?"
"Like this..."
With that he pulled me in and his soft lips touched mine. I didn't want to let go but I knew I had to.
"I love you" He said.
"Not as much as I love you" I replied.
"Come on you two!!" Shouted Jaymi.
JJ pulled me over to where the boys were getting their tickets checked.
"One more kiss" He asked.
I went in to kiss him one last time. Within five minutes of that kiss JJ was gone, on his way too Las Vegas ready to live his dream.
I got into the car with JJ's mum.
"So are you and my boy an item now then?" she asked.
"You could say that" I laughed.
"Really?" she said.
"mhm"
A massive smile grew on her face.
"Thank god for that! I'm so glad you two have finally gotten together! oh that news has made my day!"
We both started to laugh. The car pulled up at the train station, I ran over to the ticket station, grabbed my ticket and went to give one last hug to JJ's mum. As I walked towards the platform, JJ's mum shouted over to me
"See you on Saturday honey!"
I smiled and replied "you too!"
Suddenly, my train pulled up at the stop. I ran and took my place. As the vehicle started to move, I waved to JJ's mum. Looking out of the window, I saw the Virgin Atlantic plane fly overhead and I knew JJ was on there. I smiled to myself, only a few more days and we would be re-united.
