Recap
"O-okay honey".
I managed to say before he hang up.

I pushed Jungkook off quickly with all my might. Surprising him.

He was definitely stunned by my action as he watched me sit back up and slowly put my dress back on.

"I hate you".

End of recap

Narrator's pov

Jungkook stood up dominantly, slipping his hands in his sweatpants pockets.

His gaze landed on her body once again. Most importantly her face that held nothing but pain. He watched her as she stood up, wiping her tears. That soon were replaced with fresh ones.

Her eyes slowly lifted up and landed on his cold ones. Watching him unbothered by her misery.

"You know". She trailed off.

"My biggest regret in life....is crossing paths with you". Tears trickled down her cheeks as she watched him.

"I wish I never met you in the first place".
She used the back of her hand to wipe her tears away and slowly began heading towards the door.

She walked past him and he couldn't help but watch her as his head turned slowly. Stopping at his shoulder. He could still see her from the corners of his eyes yet said nothing.

She went inside her walking wardrobe and grabbed her purse and shoes before walking out.

Once reaching the room's doorframe, she stopped and looked over her shoulder.

"For the sake of your brother and for the sake of his self respect, please let me ago. Leave this place and don't ever come back".

With that she walked out, leaving him all alone in the room. He looked ahead, his eyes catching something on top of her bed. A painting. He watched the painting above her bed as various thoughts raced through his head. It was an oil painting of red roses created by a well known artist in the country. Who gifted it to Jimin.

He took account of the details on it. The colour represented love and compassion. However, it is also the colour of hatred. He thought.

The painting took him back to that very day that changed Sia's entire life. He could still remember the exact event like it was yesterday. That room was decorated with the same red roses.

He didn't seem to understand why she would endure having something as such in her presence. When it was something that must have reminded her of that awful day.

Sia's pov

I waited for Jimin in the rose garden. Sitting on the wooden bench, I couldn't help but think about ways to get rid of the devil inside my house.

The gardener continued doing his job per usual after greeting me and about after 12 minutes, I heard the sound of Jimin's car in the drive way.

I looked to the side to see it coming to an halt and getting parked.

The driver's door opened and out came my husband. He took his sunglasses off and flicked me a smile before walking my way.
