Ch 23 - missing you

Gulf pov

I released the hug after few minutes and cupped mew's cheeks.

" Sleep now okay...? I will leave very early in the morning..." I said and but he didn't say anything and was just looking at my eyes with a pout.

" What happened mew ? " I asked and he shaked his head as nothing.

" Then I will leave good night mew " I said pecking his forehead and turned to go but stopped when feeling something stopped me. I turned back to see mew holding my cloth in between his thumb and forefinger and looking down .

" Can you...can you...." He tried something shuttering but not completing it making me completely turn towards him..

" Tell me mew... Don't be afraid " I said smiling at him but he is only looking down.

" Can you sleep here today.... until you go in the morning ?" He asked fidgeting his fingers making me coo at his cuteness.

" Why you are afraid of asking that...huh..??" I said ruffling his hair.

"Let me change my clothes and come back " I said and he nodded his head happily while grinning.

I went to Washroom and changed my clothes and came back to look at mew who is sitting on the bed.

"Shall we sleep ?" I asked and he looked at me and nodded his head. We slept on the edges of the bed ,I was sleeping on my back touching to the bed while mew was sleeping turning back to me facing otherside of the wall.

After sometime, I can still feel the movements of mew making me sigh and turn to him and scoop myself near to him . I wrapped my hand around his waist while his back was touching my chest making him flinch a bit.

" Mew.... Don't worry na.... I will be fine and come back safely to you in 2-3 days " I said and he suddenly turned back curling himself into my chest while I was stroking his hair.

" You are worried now even I don't go to participate in the war then what about future mew ....there will be wars that I have to personally participate ??" I asked

" I never stopped you to go for war but that doesn't mean I don't need to worry about you king " he said making me smile and hug him tightly.

" Thank you so much mew for coming into my life " I said and he looked at me with his beautiful eyes making me smile and peck his lips while he again hide in my chest making me giggle. After few minutes, we slowly drifted to sleep hugging eachother.

At early morning I woke up and smiled seeing the queen sleeping on my arm snuggled towards me holding my cloth tightly in his fist tightly even when he is sleeping . I tugged his hair behind his hair and slowly removed his head from my arm placing it on the pillow and got up from bed tucking him properly with the duvet and pecked his forehead before going out of his room to my room getting ready to go to the war.

General singto is ready with the soliders at the entrance of the palace when I went after getting ready. I hoped on my horse signalling them to go making them hop on their own horses and we all started out way to the enemy's kingdom.

Mew pov

When I woke up, I didn't find king beside me making me sit up on the bed opening my eyes fully.

" Did he leave to the war already ??" I mumbled

" Who has introduced these wars...ahhh....!!" I yelled falling on the bed and puffing my face in the pillow.

" Mew your bath is ready " mild informed me coming into my room at the same time making me sigh and go to do my daily routine.

In the evening,

I completed all my works as queen and some more as king is not here. It's not even one day and I was missing him so much. I went to his room instead of mine and informed mild I am going spend some time here.

I was just looking at the room feeling his smell around the room making me calm a bit. I sat on the bed and took his pillow hugging it to my chest.

" I Miss you...come back soon " I mumbled into the pillow. I don't know when I drifted to sleep on king's bed as I woke up feeling some one shaking me to see mild standing beside the bed.

" Mew... It's time for dinner " he said but I am not in the mood to eat .

" I don't want to eat mild....let me sleep for some more time " I said

" you have to mew....king ordered me to make sure you eat all your meals otherwise he will kill me " he said making me roll my eyes.

" Aye mild.... Who will say that I didn't eat my dinner for one night.... Just you don't say , so he will not know " I said sleeping on my stomach.

" There are so many people ...even I will also not lie , do you want me to be killed by king or do you want eat to dinner ?" He asked making me sit up boringly.

" I will eat happy now " I asked

" I will be happy after you eat " he said making me narrow my eyes at him. We went to our room and I slept after eating.

After two days,

" Queen...! " Gun came to me while I was sitting in library.

" What happened p'gun? " I asked

" War is completed and we won the war " he said making me stand and go to him hurriedly

" What about king ? Is he safe ?" I asked making him smile.

" Everyone is fine itseems only a bit of small scratches " he said making me relieved .

" Thanks p'gun " I said smiling

" When they are going to come back ?" I asked

" Hmmm.... soon " he said

" P'gun.... Tell me don't tease me " I whined making him laugh
