On our way back to HQ, the ride was anything but silent.
It started with a conversation.
"How were you so confident with them?"
I glanced at Addie.
"What?"
"You spoke to them so confidently! You even slammed Danny's flirting. Hard. You know, not a lot of people can do that!"
"Really? He made it pretty easy..."
"Kim!"
"Okay, okay geez. I don't know actually. I guess it helps that I'm not crushing on one of them...?"
Addie deflated.
Literally.
She sunk in her seat and blushed so furiously, I thought she was going to explode.
"Woah. Are you sure it's only a crush?"
I asked laughing.
"Shut up."
"Okay, okay. I can see what Lando does to you. Let's change the topic. Wanna put some music on?"
"Sure! How does Green Day sound?"
"Amazing."

About 45 minutes later, me and Addie pulled into the lot at HQ.
Waiting there, with fury written all over his face, was none other than Mattia Binotto.
Let's hope we don't die.
