Percy's POV

'Jason!' I shook him. 'GOOD NEWS,'

he rubbed his eyes.

'What?'
'Me - Annabeth - movie,' I said.
'You and Annabeth going on a movie? ni- WHAT?'

I knew he'd ignore it for a second. He's like that sometimes.

'I know!' I chuckled.
'Man, that's great,' he smiled. 'When?'
'Soon, I'm getting the tickets.' I said while scrolling through my phone.

I couldn't wait at all.

While getting ready, finally, Annabeth would explain, if she wouldn't, I'd kill her.
Kidding, I can't kill my Wise Girl.

But I'd try my best to convince her to explain. What do you expect when you're at the Olympics, have won the round, and then your girlfriend walks up, I think we should break-up, bye I'll cry now.

Finally, explanations - I'll never be happier to talk to somebody.

Then Will and Nico ruin it all.

I was cleaning my car.

Hi, tickets' booked, I'll pick you up ten minutes. - P

'You're not going,' Will said.
'Why not?' I ask.
'Because we're mad at her,'
'So? She's my gir- was my girlfriend,' I shrugged.
'We're trying to protect you.'
'No you aint',' I grumbled and got my phone.

Change of plans, Will and Nico are here to stop me from doing evil, I'll be five minutes late - P

'You still have her number?' Will asked.
'Why are you doing this?' I asked, annoyed.
'Annabeth was kinda mean to me and now Will hates her,' Nico explained. 'I'm just with him 'cause I have nothing better to do.'
'Then at least side with me!' I growled.
'But... he's my boyfriend,' Nico said
'But I'm your cousin! We're related,'

Nico was the most confused looking in his life, it was adorable, I admit.

He looked like this particular photo Annabeth used to have on her phone, it was a BTS member. The same member who we compared a sleepy Nico to.

Like I said, kinda adorable.

'I'm both sided,' Nico decided. 'I think you should go - but I also think you should wait for a while until you get back together.'
'Why?'
he shrugged. 'You just broke up, you need time, so does she,'
'It makes sense but-'
'No buts,' Will said.
'I agree with Will, take time,' Nico said. 'Now bye, enjoy,'

It was very much like Nico to disagree with someone and just walk away: Bye, have a nice life I'll just change into some skeleton pajamas and sleep.

Annabeth's POV

Okay, so... I look good?

'Do I look good?' I asked Piper.
'Great, simple, chic, I like it - have fun, bye,'
'Well you're happy,'
'Jason's coming over,' she said.
'Oooooh,' I tease.
'Not that, I hate you, you are disgusting.'

I laughed.

'Then why so excited?'
'Because,' she smirked. 'You saw the Vlive yesterday right? the Butter and Permission To Dance album just got released - yesterday.'
'What's your point?' I asked, and then it dawned on me. 'NO WAY,'
'I'm not sharing,' she said. 'Don't give me puppy eye- fine I'll share,'
'Can I see it though? when it comes?'
'I just said you can-'

My phone rang.

'Talk about this later, I've got to go,'
'Bye, have fun, make o-'
'Shut it.'

I walked to the front and picked up the call.

'I'm on m'way,' Percy mumbled as I heard a familiar sound of an engine starting.
''Kay, I'm waiting,'

'M'lady,' Percy bowed down.
'Shut up,' I said as I got into the car. 'So, Percy Jackson And The Sea Of Monsters? The characters based on us?'
'Heheh, kinda,'
'Coincedences never cease,' I shrugged.
'So are you gonna explain?'

I knew it.

'Later, let's just enjoy the movie first? Please?'
'Fine,' Percy smiled.

The movie was amazing, there was popcorn, throwing popcorn, spilling coke. It was fun overall.

Then it ended and we sat in the car.

'Explain,' he said.
'Yeah,' I said. 'Where do I start?'
'At the beginning?'

I guess we could have fun?

'I was born into this world-'

Percy rolled his eyes.

'The REAL beginning.' Percy growled.
I laughed.
'Look, I like you a lot,' I started
Percy nodded.
'While we had a little...scene... after you were done, Luke saw it- and he threatened me...'
'What did he threaten to do?'
'Kill,' I said.
'And...?'

I sighed.

'And Percy... I had to protect you... because I- I love you.'

Percy looked shocked, and then he lurched forward.

'I-'

And then there was a crash, and everything went black.
