Xinyi's POV

"Miss Pei, welcome to WayV Asylum."

I scanned the entire asylum. It has a scary appearance.

"How many patients are here?" I inquired to Mrs. Chen.

"Seven," she said, which surprised me.

"Seven!?" I exclaim, amazed that there are only seven patients here.

"Yes, WayV Asylum is an asylum we built exclusively for these seven persons who have harmful disorders." Mrs. Chen stated solemnly.

"Wow, I didn't expect that. I was expecting more than ten or fifteen." I say. I'm surprised there are just seven patients here. This facility, to be honest is far too large for seven patients. Why are there only seven patients in this room?

"You're lucky to have seven patients, compared to the other asylums out there, but you're also unlucky because, as I've mentioned, they're dangerous." I just nod again. I'm not sure how harmful those patients are, but I'm hoping they aren't too harmful.

"Let's go to your room first and arrange your belongings, then I'll fetch you and show you about the asylum and introduce you to the other patients; but remember, you must be careful. Mrs. Chen said.

"Sure," I responded. She led me to my room. On the outside, everything appears to be creepy, but once we enter the asylum, everything is white. Even the other employees here are dressed in white.

"Here's your room, and here's the key." Mrs. Chen remarked.

"Thank you."

"I'll be back later, okay? You don't need to wear your uniform because you haven't started yet. You'll start tomorrow." She says.

I went into my room after Mrs. Chen had departed. There is only one bed, which may accommodate two people. There's also an own bathroom and a closet. This space has been meticulously prepared. I began to fix my belongings in order to prepare for later.

What did the patients have, and Mrs. Chen had to constantly tell me that they were dangerous? I mean, they can't be that bad, right? But all I know is that certain people with disorders are harmful. Maybe that's why she keeps reminding me.

When I've completed everything. I take a seat on my bed and take out my phone. I frowned. I just realized that there's no signal here. If there is no signal, how can I call my family?

Never mind. I'll look for it when I have the time. Maybe they have a phone or signal somewhere here.

When my door unexpectedly opens, I gazed at it. I had forgotten to lock it.

"I apologize for not knocking, but are you ready?" It's Mrs. Chen.

"Ah, yes," I respond, rising from my bed and leaving my phone behind.

"Okay, let's go." Mrs. Chen continues. I grabbed my key and locked my room before leaving.

Mrs. Chen began to teach me where I should go and where should not go. She also gives me some key cards to get inside some of the asylum's rooms.

"As I've mentioned, you're going to meet them today." Mrs. Chen started.

"However, please be cautious. Otherwise, they may kill you."
