Your POV;

"Park Chaeryoung! Get your cute bubbly but down here right now!" You yell at the tree in front of you, Lucas standing a couple of feet behind you looking at you as if you've turned crazy.

"This is your last chance, I'm looking like a crazy woman yelling at a tree, get down here or I'll come get you myself and we all know how that's going to end." You warn again, pissed of at the lack of response.

"Don't come up." A small voice speaks from above you making Lucas let out a loud screech. "Since when do trees talk?!" He gasps and you facepalm.

"Didn't realise you left your brains at home babe." You scoff and hear another gasp from Lucas.

"Yah!" He yells and walks towards you, only earning an eye roll from you. "Just shut up will ya? We're here for Chae, not to discuss the fact that you lack proper knowledge."

"Damn, didn't know someone was on their period." He scoffs, now his turn to roll his eyes. "Am not!" You yell turning towards him. "Well you're acting like it." He barks back making you growl. "We literally had sex an hour ago, how can you possibly think I'm on my period?!" You yell getting quite frustrated by your lovers stupidity. "Well, you're behaving like a agitated bitc-"

"SHUT THE FUCK UP, BOTH OF YOU." Lucas gets interrupted by the irritated voice of Chaeryoung. "TREES DONT TALK?! WHERE THE FUCK AM I?!" Lucas replies, clearly still not over the fact that the tree is talking at him.

"You pabo!" You sigh and walk towards the tree. "I'm sorry Chae! Please come down." You ask again, now with more remorse in your voice, hoping she'll forgive you for whatever you did wrong.

"You do realise that the fact that I'm here is because I wanna be alone?!" She retorts and you jut out your bottom lip, not like she can see.

"I-i know bubs but I was worried about you." You say, now clear in your voice that you're quite upset. "Why?" She asks back in a whisper but you heard her clearly.

"Please come down and let me hug you." You say and finally, after what seemed to be hours of arguing, a flare of pink hair emits from behind the dense tree.

You and Lucas both quiet down, now more calm at the appearance of Chae and the fact that she seems uninjured. She climbs down a couple of branches until she is only a meter or two off the ground and she jumps down.

Dusting off her clothes she keeps her eyes trained to the ground and her head hung low. "Oh you poor thing." You say softly and immediately pull her into a hug.

She breaks down in quiet sobs and you motion to Lucas to leave you two alone for a minute. He mouths an 'i love you' to which you reply with a wink and he walks back into the forrest, towards his car.

"It's okay Chae, I'm here now, you can cry." You comfort your best friend while holding her tightly in your arms. "Everything will be just fine love." You say softly and her sobs slow down, leaving her softly shaken and breathing heavily.

"I know you very much dislike talking about the things that upset you, but it's clear you've been bottling things up and something is quite upsetting you, please find the comfort in me to talk about it." You say while rubbing her back, pulling her down to sit next to you, under the tree.

"I-it's Mark." She says in a broken voice, playing with her fingers, not meeting your gaze. "I realised, what about him." You say and she looks up.

"Didn't he tell you? Isn't that why you're here?" Chae asks and you shake your head. "Uhm- when Lucas and I came downstairs, both of you were gone, but I didn't think much of it, then Haechan explained me the situation and confirmed that Mark left to look for you." You answer her.
