[ Boris ]

"Dad! Dad! Do the trick again! Do the trick!"

"Ah, на русском!" I said. "Пожалуйста, сделайте трюк еще раз!" Victor shouted. Oliver nodded eagerly and I nodded. "Ok. Ready?" They nodded and I pulled out the box cutter. I clicked it open two times and held it up. "Watch." I brought it down against my arm, simultaneously dragging it across the skin and retracting the blade.

I smiled and held it up, clicking it back open again. "Uhh... Dad."

"What?" I looked down and my eyes widened. I put a hand over then large cut, hiding it from the boys "Shit. Uh, boys go play."

"Are you okay?" Victor asked. "Fine, I am fine. Just go play. Okay?" I kissed their heads and they ran to they playroom. As soon as the door closed I hissed in pain. I dropped the box cutter and ran to the sink. I ran my arm under the water and closed my eyes. Ah fuck, it hurts so bad. And it's bleeding so much! I reached into the cabinet and fumbled with some bandaids.

I shook my head as my vision started closing in. It was no use. I collapsed on the floor and sighed.

Damn, I should have listened to Y/n when she told me not to do that anymore.

[ Y/n ]

"Guys, I'm home!" I shouted. "Do you think he's dead?" I heard Victor whispered. "Boys?" I walked towards them with a big grin on my face. I looked down and noticed blood drips all over the floor. My smile faded as I followed them into the kitchen. I looked down and Boris was laying in a pool of blood. I screamed and the twins turned to me.

"What- what happened?!" I asked as I pulled my phone out. "Dad accidentally cut himself." Victor answered. "Go to your room." I said. They got up and started walking past me. "Are we in trouble?" Victor asked. "No! Just go to your room!" They hurried away from me and I rushed over to Boris. I turned the sink off and dialed 911.

"9-1-1 what's your emergency?"

"My husband is bleeding out!"

"Alright what's your address?"

"*address*"

"Ok. Is he conscious?"

"No."

"Do you know where the bleeding is coming from?"

"Uh... Uh, probably his arm but its covered in blood. Oh god I think I'm going to throw up."

"Do you know what happened? How long has he been unconscious?"

"I- I don't know! I was at work and he was here watching our kids."

"Okay, how old are your kids?"

"4. They're twins."

"Okay we've dispatched an ambulance. They'll be there soon."

"Mommy. Is daddy dead?"

"No baby. Daddy isn't dead. Can you tell me what happened?"

They nodded and Victor played with his hair. "So. Daddy was doing the knife trick and he cut himself. So he told us to go play and we did but then there was a loud BOOM! So we walked out and daddy was just laying on the ground! We asked if he was okay and he was like 'yeah I am fine. Go play.' But then he fell asleep! We could barely understand him talking."

That fucking dumbass. I told him 100 times not to do that stupid trick! "Okay." I parked the car and got out. "Come on." I walked up the steps and knocked on the door. It was a moment before Theo opened it. His eyes widened as he stared at me. "You're covered in blood."

"I know. Boris accidentally cut himself really bad so he's in the hospital so please watch the twins for me. Please."

"Uhh, sure. Is he okay?"

"Don't know. I'll text you the updates!" He nodded and I ran to get back in the car.

After getting myself cleaned up and waiting two hours, I was allowed to see Boris. He was asleep but they said he was fine. I walked into the room and sighed. "You're so fucking stupid."

"I know..." He mumbled. I walked over to him and he opened his eyes. "Hi Принцесса." He gave me a small smile and I scoffed. "I hate you."

"I know... May I have a kiss?" I leaned down and pressed a soft kiss onto his lips. He held up his arm and showed me the bloody wrap on it. "Cool scar one day." I shook my head and played with his hair. "Okay, come on." I got in bed with him and started to cry. Boris kissed my head, lightly running his fingers over the top. "So sorry. Promise not to do stupid trick no more."

"Anymore." I corrected.

"Anymore." He laughed.
