Hoseok woke up earlier than usual. Yesterday's fight with Yoongi had left him worried and he hoped the situation would get better today.

He had to find a way to get him to accept that Yu wasn't a menace...

He walked to the kitchen and heard a commotion outside and then a growl of pain coming from Yoongi.

The next instant Hoseok was running out, in a panic.

Yu was straddling Yoongi who was lying on his stomach on the porch, the both of them covered in blood.

''Yu! Please don't kill him! I know he's a jerk but he doesn't deserve to die!''

Yu turned her head towards Hoseok, eyes filled with interrogation.

''You heard Hoseok, don't press that hard you'll break my back, this is supposed to be a massage, not a torture session...'' Yoongi whined.

''A massage!? B-but what about the blood!?'' Hoseok exclaimed, clearly confused.

''We hunted a deer!'' Yu said proudly.

Hoseok looked around and his jaw dropped when he noticed the deer carcass lying next to the porch. How did they go from yesterday's fight to Yu giving Yoongi a back massage after a hunt? Where had all the animosity between them gone?

''So you two are like... hunting buddies now?'' Hoseok asked, visibly shaken.

''Buddies is a strong word. She has a good nose, so she's useful on a hunt. We shouldn't let her talents go to waste, they're quite practical...'' Yoongi explained.

''What about the back massage?'' Hoseok inquired again.

''He's making me pay because he had to carry my big butt!'' Yu explained happily.

Hoseok's eyes squinted in annoyance.

''Don't listen to this jerk Yu, you don't have a big butt... Hey! What happened to your feet!? Yoongi! You let her go outside barefoot and now you're forcing her to massage you!? That's cold, even for you! Come on Yu, let's get you inside...'' Hoseok said while helping the girl up.

''I had fun Yoongi-oppa! Let's do this again sometime!'' Yu said cheerfully as Hoseok took her hand and guided her inside.

Yoongi sat up on the porch, with a corner smile.

***

Yu's headaches had gotten fewer and fewer and at the place where there used to be a wound on her skull there was only a little hard bump.

She needed less and less sleep to feel rested and the fog that was filling her mind was completely gone.

She was pretty much back to top shape; with the exception that her memories were still gone. Namjoon had different theories on the matter.

The most probable one was that the bullet wound had destroyed a part of her brain containing her memories. The actual brain matter had been healed, but it was back to being a blank slate and some of her memories may very well be lost forever.

The second theory was that the brain was such a complex organ that maybe it hadn't yet regenerated and that when it would heal, her memories would all come back.

The third, less likely option, was the fact that her memory loss and the bullet wound weren't connected. They couldn't know for sure that her memory wasn't already lost before the accident...

Yu wasn't that upset at the perspective that her memory could never come back. Some things were probably better off forgotten anyways... but now that she was back in shape, the time of her departure was nearing.
