Jake's pov-
I opened and closed the front door, knowing that Dirk could here the door squeak. I stood in the middle of the living room/kitchen. I dialed up Mr.Striders number. I thought I could cheer Dirk up this way. He needed to get out of his house.
"Hello Mr. Strider." I said into the receiver of my phone. "Oh hey Jake. How've you been?" Bro spoke, his voice booming through the phone. "Fine. Actually I need a favor. If you please." I looked at Dirk's bedroom door. Hopefully he couldn't hear me. "Sure anythin for you my man." I smiled. "Great. Can you come over to the apartment. I have a wonderful idea to cheer Dirk up. I'll tell you more when you get here." I didn't bother waiting for a response. I pressed the end button and slipped my phone into my pocket. Dirk, you are gonna be happy wether you like it or not.
