Naomi's POV

"Coming!" I ran to unlock the door.

"Hello! I brought chips, candy and a movie!" Ella said in a cheerful voice.

"That's perfect, come on in!" I smiled back as I lead her to the living room. "So, how've you been?"

"I've been okay, what about you? How's canada life treating ya?"

"It's pretty cool, glad it doesn't rain everyday."

"Tell me about it, although I do miss it sometimes."

"For real?"

"Totally, I loved being back home," I sighed.

"So wait did you grow up there or?"

"I moved her when I was a kid but three years ago I went to finish high school and go to college."

"Oh that's cool, what made you come back?"

"It's... kind of a long story."

"I have time," She giggled.

"Grab a slice of pizza then cause it'll be a while." I laughed as we both grabbed one.

"Okay lay it on me."

"Okay, so it all started on my senior year, thats the year I met Men—"

"That's your boyfriend right," She grinned at me, "Quite a good looking lad you got there," Scrunching my nose I looked down at my ring, "Oh, wait is it fiancé?"

"Umm a bit? I don't know we're kind of going through a rough patch right now,"

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean too—"

"It's alright, it's just a bit frustrating that's all."

"You wanna talk about it? I mean Ive been single for a while but I give good advice, or so they say. Ohhh and look," Ella stood up and ran to her bag. She pulled out a bottle of wine, "Guaranteed best night of you like with this bad boy,"

Laughing I looked back at her, "Oh gosh, you're insane."

"Just a bit, so what do you say?"

"I say, I'd love too but I can't?" I scrunched my nose at her.

"Oh wait do you not drink? I'm sorry I—"

"Oh no I drink alright, it's just... I'm sort of expecting."

Ella squinted her eyes as she processed what I'd just told her. "Expecting as in?"

"Yup!"

"With him?" She pointed at a portrait of Mena and I. "Damn that baby is gonna be cute."

"Babies, actually."

"Triplets?"

"God no, twins but yeah. They'll be alright,"

"Aw but congrats. How far along are you?"

"A month and a 2 weeks."

"Damn that's really intense,"

"Too intense."

"So if it's like that then where is he ? I mean I get rough patches but he should be here."

"He just needed some time, I don't know.
We've been through a lot together and things just keep piling up you know? Theres just a lot of baggage between us and honestly sometimes I just think I should give up but I love him. And now with the babies and all, it's just different, I'm different. I just don't know if he feels different as well."
