Bonding with Min Yoongi

You were in the studio of the company building, writing and producing a song. You've been at it for a week and you've managed to finish one song and currently working on the second one.

Listening to the first song, you were doubting it. You're supposed to hand it to either Namjoon, Yoongi or Hobi but hearing the songs that they finished, it put yours to shame. That's what you thought anyways and you didn't know what else to think because you haven't let anyone hear it yet.

As you were writing lyrics and creating rhythms, you heard a knock resonate from the door. You took off the headphones and stood up from your chair. Opening the door, you saw Yoongi. "Hey. Bang PD-nim told me that you're here." he said to you while peering inside the room to see multiple windows open on the computer. You suddenly became conscious of what he can see from where he's standing so you fully stepped outside the room and closed the door.

"He told me to check on you." he told you when you asked him why PD-nim told him where you were. "To check on me?" you repeated what he said but as a question. "Yeah. He told me that you were making songs so he asked me if I could check it out." he smiled.

When Yoongi saw a notebook with your name lying on the table in the computer/studio room when you toured him when he first arrived, he's been nothing but excited to hear the songs that you make. He might have read a few lines but that's enough for him to know that you're a decent and talented song writer despite your age. He's been holding back from asking to hear your songs because he's thinking that he might be invading your privacy since he doesn't know you that well enough yet.

"So how many songs have you made so far?" he asked you when you let him in. "Well I've just finished a song and I'm currently working on another." you told him after you sat on the chair.

It's been fifteen minutes and you haven't heard anything from Yoongi. You thought about how PD-nim told you that Yoongi is a talented song writer and producer along with being an amazing rapper. Maybe he could check your song out but then your insecurities got in the way and you backed out on the idea.

Yoongi noticed your halted movements so he got up and peered at what you were working on. "I like it?" he asked. You jumped because of surprise from Yoongi's voice but looking up at him with a confused face he suddenly spoke again. "Is that the title?" Your eyes got wide and you felt warmth envelope your face.

Looking down at you, Yoongi suddenly laughed at your red face. "What's the matter?" you didn't know what to say so you just shook your head then gave a big sigh while hiding your face with your hands.

"Yeah. That's the title." you confirmed his question. There's no point hiding it now anyways. "Can I hear it?" he suddenly asked you.

You reluctantly and nervously gave him the headphones. Your finger hovered over the space bar and Yoongi noticed it. "What's wrong? Is it not complete yet?" he asked you. You sighed and shook your head. "No. It's already done. It's just..." you trailed. "If you don't want to show me, it's okay." Yoongi told you, putting down the headphones. "No! It's not that I didn't want to let you hear it. I'm just conscious, that's why." you told him. You finally told him.

You heard Yoongi let out a sigh then put on the headphones for the second time. He then grabbed your pointer finger and let it hover on top of the space bar. "It's entirely your choice, Bea. But if you ask me, no matter what you feel or say, I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna like it." he stated. "Listen, PD-nim told me that you're a talented person and I know that it's true. I've seen you practice and Namjoon also told me how amazing you are when you produced a demo song with him. I have confidence in you and I hope you have that in yourself too." he added then let go off your finger. He crossed his arms over his chest and waited.

He's right. Absolutely right. You have insecurities when it comes to your abilities but it's time that you start to actually believe in them. Yoongi looked at you and didn't notice that you played the song.

You waited for his reaction after the song ended. You were so close to biting your whole fingers off. He took off the headphones and looked at you intensely. "As far as I know, it's absolutely amazing." he stated. "I knew it. It's the tune isn't it? Or maybe the lyrics, I should have changed the ly- wait what?" "It's amazing, Bea." he repeated. "It is?" "Absolutely"

"Thank you so much for helping me with finishing the second song, Yoongi-ssi." "It's nothing. Besides, I had an ample time of fun with you." you looked at him and smiled. "I'm not kidding when I told you than I'm excited to work with you." he told you with a smile.
