Confession from a Hater

It has been two years since your debut with the boys as Bangtan and it has been anything but easy. You’ve experienced a lot while being with these guys, these seven amazing, talented, and brilliant guys.

Being with a group of seven males, hate will eventually reach you no matter what and no matter where you are. In the early years, you received so much hate. You tried to be strong, just like what they’re trying to do. But what can you do? You were still the youngest and you were sensitive when it comes to hate. It would be hard whenever you would go and do fanservice, especially with fansigns but you were passed that. You did become stronger, the boys helped you with that.

Before, whenever you do fansigns, almost half the people that came would skip you and the boys would hold your hand and cheer you up. And when some would get really rude towards you, they would ask the fan to skip them. If they won’t let you sign their album, then they won’t sign them too. Although you protested, they told you that if they claim that they love Bangtan, they should appreciate all of the members and that's what Namjoon would always before every fansign to remind them and fans started to accept the fact that no matter what, the boys would protect you and wouldn’t let any harm go near you. They started to accept you.

All of you were in Ilsan, doing a fansign for the album. It was going smoothly.

You were seated between Namjoon and Yoongi and Jungkook’s being a brat behind you. He was tying various things on your hair, at first it was just a pen then the next thing you know, he was complaining about how he can’t tie a water bottle with your hair to which you gave him a glare. “Will you stop tying things with my hair.” you said to him while holding the mic to your lips while the fans laughed. He raised his hands, giving you a chuckle.

Jimin, Taehyung, and Jin was doing a Cleopatra game as an entertainment for the fans when they gave you the cue that the signing would start.

You said bye to the fan when she moved to Yoongi then waited for the next person. “Hi!” someone greeted you. You looked at her, gave her a big smile and reached for her hand, but she didn’t reach back. She looked at you and sighed. “I’m sorry Bea-ssi.” “Sorry? Why are you being sorry?” you looked at her confused.

“When you debuted, I’m one of the people that would give you endless hate.” she confessed to you. You were surprised, you didn’t know what to do or to say. Thankfully she started talking again. “I kept on saying bad things about you for a long time until
Namjoon oppa made me realize something.” you waited for her to continue to which she did.

“He was right. If we’re going to support Bangtan, we should appreciate every member. And I tried doing that, even though I was so against it but I still tried.” she was looking at the ground and you were listening intently. “I watched every video that you were in, the dance practices, the music videos, everything. I started seeing how
amazing and talented you are. Then I stumbled on fansign videos..” she trailed.

“I saw your reaction whenever you would get skipped by people. You still smiled and bowed to them, but your eyes tells me otherwise. I saw how hurt you were then I told myself. How could I hurt someone I don’t know personally, how could I give hate to someone like her.” she started crying.

You extended your arms to her and held both her hands tightly while she kept saying how sorry she is. It broke your heart to see someone cry because of you.

“Deciding to be part of a band that will debut in due time, I knew that I would get hate no matter what I do. Yes, I do get really hurt when fans dismiss me but seeing the others appreciate me was enough. I’m so grateful for you.” you said to her, smiling. She raised her head “grateful for what? Why would you be grateful when I gave yo-” “I’m grateful because you accepted me.” you told her while smiling with tears about to fall from your eyes. “Thank you so much.” you said sincerely and reached to hug her. You covered your face with your hair cause you were crying too.

“Now let’s get this signed up” you smiled when you pulled away. You kept on saying thank you until she had to move to Yoongi who was smiling at the both of you. He immediately held her hand and thanked her like you did.

You turned to Namjoon and saw that he was also waiting for the next person. “Thank you, oppa.” you put your head on his shoulder. “You’re welcome, little Bee.”
