Poe's POV:
We lay there watching the sunset together, it's getting colder. I can feel Rey start to shiver,
"Do you wanna go inside? It's almost dark?" I say moving closer to her.
"Sure," she says sitting up
I grab her hand and we walk towards the door. Walking back in the warm air hits us as we walk in the door. We take off our snow clothes and go get supper.
"Oh crap, we forgot about Finn." She says looking around for him.
"Well let's go find him then." I say sighing,
We find him working on a ship in on of the the docking bays. He's working on the interior under a x-wing. Rey sneaks up to him and grabs his ankles.
"Rawwr!" She says
Finn let's out a scream and he hits his head. He rolls out and looks at Rey rubbing his forehead, Rey sits there laughing. I walk over to Finn to look at his forehead, it's not cut but it's going to be bruise there.
"What did you hit your head on?" I ask curious
"The muffler, hopefully I didn't dent it." Finn says starting to laugh and I join in.
We all sit there laughing for several minutes, Rey, Finn, and I until we're out of breath.
"You wanna go get supper with us Finn." Rey asks, as I hear her stomach rumbling.
"I have to finish fixing the engine, and a few more, but I'll come join you later." He says frowning
"Oh, ok." Rey says frowning
"Do you want me to bring you something?" Rey asks
"Nah, I should be outta here in a few hours, I'll see you then." He says rolling back under the ship.
"See you later." I say as we stand up and walk off to get some food.
Tonight's special is Greedo's burritos.
"Wasn't Greedo a smuggler for the Hutt clan?" Rey asks
"Ya, I think so." I say impressed by Rey knowing that.
"Are you going to get a burrito?" She asks
"Nah, I think I'm gonna stick to Porg noodle soup." I say shaking my head.
"Ok, I'm going to get a burrito so I'll meet you at the table?" She asks
"Sounds good to me." I say smiling making my way over to the Soup counter.
I get my soup and go sit down at the table. Waiting for Rey, I decide to go get a dessert. I decide to get some chocolate pudding, as I walk back to the table with it, I see Rey talking to Shane. I put my pudding down and walk over to them,
"Oh, there he is! How ya doin Poe." He says pulling me into a bro hug.
"Oh, I'm just fine how about you Shane I haven't seen you around are in a while. Did you just get back from a mission?" I ask
"Ya, I was on Yavin four, negotiating a peace treaty and boy have I missed a lot. I didn't know you two were dating!" He says grinning
"Oh, well it's only been a couple months." I say looking over at Rey and she smiles back.
"Well, What about Yavin? Are they on our side?" I ask
"Oh, well they said they'll think about it, but I have a feeling that I didn't convince them enough. You should go and talk to them since that's your home planet!" Shane says
"Oh well, I really would but I just got home from a mission and I'm not ready to go on another one yet." I say
"Well, I should let you two eat before your food gets cold. It was nice talking to ya!" Shane says grinning as I give him a grin and a nod and walk off.
We walk back over to our table, I start eating my Porg noodle soup, I frowning when I find out my soup is cold.
"Why are you frowning." Rey says in a pouty voice.
"My soups cold." I say taking another sip anyway.
"Aww poor baby" Rey says in a baby voice pouting
I hit her arm and we start eating, and are done in minutes both really hungry from today. Rey and I end up sharing the pudding, and then we dump our plates and walk out of the cafeteria, on our way out we bump into Finn.
"Oh, hey there you are! I was just looking for you all. Do you know it's snowing?"
Rey and I look at eachother and she starts to giggle.
"What." Poe says grinning
"It's been snowing all day Finn, we went out and enjoyed it pretty much the whole day." Rey says smiling
"Oh, I wish I had your kind of time." Finn says frowning.
"Me too I miss hanging out with you." Rey says putting a hand on Finns shoulder.
He looks at me and then says
"Well, I should probably go get something to eat before the cafeteria closes."
"Oh, ok see you later!" Rey says as Finn walks to the cafeteria.
"Do you think that Finn has been a little akaward around us lately?" Rey says as we walk down the hallway.
"Ya, has been different, I've noticed that, maybe he's not used to being around couples?" I say
"Maybe" Rey says grabbing my hand and starts swinging it.
We walk back to the room, taking the long way, waiting for Finn to get done eating. Soon we get back to the room,
"I'm going to go in my room for a little bit okay?" She says looking at me.
"Okay." I say giving her a quick kiss on the lips, she kisses back.
Then she turns to go in her room and I go in mine. I hear the familiar buzz coming from my pager. I pick it up and look at what it says
Meet in General Leia's office
Urgent
I quickly pick it up and hurry out the door, almost running into Rey.
"I got a page from Leia." She says
"So did I." I say sighing in relief, as Rey and I hurry to General Leia's room, to see about the mission.
