Light or darkness?

Emma’s P.O.V.

I woke up the next morning and Harry wasn’t there. I frowned. I looked at the clock and it was seven o'clock. What Harry should be doing so early? But all was forgotten when I felt a strange feeling going up my throat. I put my hand in over my mouth and ran to the bathroom. I knelt in front of the toilet and threw up.

I felt my whole body weak. I closed the lid of the toilet and pressed the lever. The water ran. I couldn’t get up. I hadn’t enough strength. I leaned against the wall and closed my eyes. The bitter taste in my mouth made me grimace. I put one of my hands on my belly and started to move my thumb. I felt the small bump, not yet noticeable, start forming.

I stayed sitting there a while. When I recovered the strength I stood up. I brush my teeth several times unit the unpleasant taste was gone. I looked in the mirror, I was pale. I dragged my feet as I went to bed. I got under the covers and I curled up...

“Emma… Wake up.”

I opened my eyes and Perrie was standing there. How long had I slept?

“Good morning.” I said. I looked the tray with the food.

“We are going to take breakfast with you.” Perrie smiles and sits next to me on the bed.

She takes a plate of waffles and some fruit. She puts it a little of maple honey. She makes a nod telling me I can take whatever I want. I'm very hungry and took a bit of every dish. Bacon, waffles, eggs, cookies, fruit salad, sausage... And a huge glass of oranges juice acid. Perrie smiles at me eating, because yesterday I hardly had eaten anything.

Eleanor enters the room with three coffees and a small bag with biscuits. She sits on my left side and gives us Perrie and me a cup of coffee. The cup has the Starbucks brand and they are still hot. I smiled and took a sip.

Harry’s P.O.V.

“I see you later.” Jade mumbled against my lips. I put my hands in her waist and kiss her back.

She took me by the collar of my shirt.

“You have the shirt inside out.” She said. I looked down and in effect I had it inside out.

I took off my shirt; I turned it around and put it on again. I left Jade’s room. I walked down the hall and pressed the elevator button...

I was standing in front of the bathroom mirror. I was late and had the nerves to the skin. I buttoned the shirt while biting my lip and moved the tip of my foot against the floor. I was so nervous I couldn’t fasten the buttons of my shirt.

Every time Emma was close, every time she spoke to me, every time she looked at me I felt like she already knew. She was sitting in bed reading a book and my phone was vibrating on the bedside table and I knew it was Jade. I only prayed that Emma didn’t occur to look at the screen and read the messages. She looked up from her book and looked at me. I look away.

I pulled so hard a button that fine threads broke and it fell to the floor. Emma got up from the bed and walked over to me. She reached out her hand toward me and on reflexively act I grabbed her wrist, stopping her. In her free hand was the button, I hadn’t realized she had pick it up. While I still clutched her wrist she pulled out a needle and some thread of a makeup bag.

She looked at her hand and then I realized that I hadn’t let her go. I felt her wrist bones crunching under my tight grip. I loosen my grip and my finger marks were on her skin. Red marks. She sewed the button in place and finished buttoning my shirt. She arranged the neck of the shirt and put a hand on my cheek.
