Teach me...

Harry's P.O.V.

I went upstairs, to Emma's bedroom. My hands were still shaking. I opened the white door and I could see Emma asleep. The orange and pink sunrise coming through the white curtains almost closed. The white walls of her bedroom had acquired some orange color because of the sunlight coming through the window. I walked into the room and with one smooth move I closed the door. I walked in silence until I was next to her.

She was curled up under the covers. Her breathing was slowly and leisurely. With her lips slightly pursed. Her hands under her head and her wavy-curly brunette hair softly falling over her face and shoulders. Her white skin looked so soft that I wanted to move a finger up and down all her skin. I wanted to kiss every inch of her skin.

I gently sat on the edge of the bed and removed some brown locks of hair from her face. I felt my eyes stinging. I pass the back of my hand over them, wiping the tears before they left down my face. I lay down beside her and hugged her as tightly as I could, burying my face in her neck. Breathing her sweet scent. I felt so good with her.

She was the only one that made me feel like this, the only one that gave me the confidence I needed. The only one who believed in me no matter how many times I was wrong. The only one that made me shivers with a look. The only one that had changed my life. The only one who could get under my skin, to the depths of my being.

"Sorry." I whispered. "I'm sorry I hurt you, but please never again go away like that, as if the earth had swallowed you. I felt my world break down when didn’t find you. I know you're angry, that you do not want to hear me. I know that if you wake up now tell me everything that crosses your mind and I just can't bear to hear those words came out of your mouth."

Unconsciously I began to stroke her hair. I wanted to cry, cry for her.

"I dint kiss Alina, she kissed me. But that's no excuse. Just do not go, do not go out of my life. It hurts me to think about being away from you. I need you with me. I don't know that if meeting you was the best or the worst of my life. I only hurt you somehow and I could survive without you before... But you taught me what it's to live. Live for something, for someone. Dreaming beyond the limits."

I felt her soft breath hitting my skin. The warmth of her body next to mine. The sun rising behind the trees and buildings in the distance. The curtains moved by the gentle breeze. And the room had a smell of flowers impregnated.

"Teach me to continue living. Teach me to no hurt you. Teach me to show you how much I love you. Teach me to not think about you all the time. Teach me so it will not hurt when you run away. Teach me to be with you no matter if you are not by my side. Teach me that the reason is not the solution to everything. Teach me that sanity in the insanity and I'm not the only one who feels this way. Just ... Teach me how to be with you forever."

"Just don't hurt me again." Her soft voice came to my ears.

She had her eyes closed, but her arms were around my neck.

"Are you mad?"

"Yes."

"You want me to go?"

"No."

"Did you listen all what I say?"

"Yes."

I sigh and tighten my wrap around her waist.

"Where's the other half?" I asked after some minutes of silence.

"The other half of what?"

"Of the heart." I said taking the little pendant between my fingers.

"Here." She said showing me the little silver chain that was on her neck.

"You didn't take it off?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I have to teach you to keep living. To not hurt me. To show me how much you love me. To not think about me all the time. Teach you so it will not hurt when I run away. To be with me no matter if I'm not by your side. Teach you that reason that is not the solution to everything. That sanity is in the insanity and that you are not the only one who feels this way. And above all, teach you to be with me forever." She whispers, repeating the words I had said just a moment ago.

"You will teach me?"

"Of course."

"So... Can I stay with you?"

"Just if you don't hurt me."

"I promise not to hurt you."

"Don't make promise that you'll not keep." She said with her eyes closed.

"I know that I'll keep it."

"How do you know?"

"Because I love you."

She opened her eyes and I saw her eyes slowly crystallized. I wiped away the tears that were slowly falling down her cheek.

"Every time you say that you make me go to heaven and the more rise, the harder I will fall."

"I will never let you fall."

I kissed her forehead. She cuddled against my chest. I reached into my pocket and pulled out a small silver bracelet. I took Emma's hand and place the bracelet on her palm. Emma raised it in the air and the sun's rays hit against the metal making it shine. She passed her fingers over the silver bracelet. She looked it closely, and I looked at her. Her green eyes with that special shine, unique, that only she had, while roamed the small object with her eyes. The bracelet had different charms: a pair of ice skates, a little heart, a musical note and a silver circle with an emerald of the same green-blue color of her beautiful eyes.

"The true dreams become true when you are by my side." She read in a soft voice. "What does it means?"

Her eyes staring at mine. I sighed, debating internally what to say. Telling the truth or not ... Tell her that I dreamed with her or not...

"It means that I love you." I whispered with my eyes closed.

"What will you teach me?" She whispered as I fastened the bracelet around her wrist, brushing my fingers on her soft skin.

I frown and pursed my lips. I let go all the air that was filling my lungs.

"Well ... I'll show the whole world, how much I love you, how to never go away and stay by my side, that there is something stronger than join us together, that I always wait for you, to face your fears and my fears."

"Without fears and problems there won't be challenges and without them life will be boring."

"Good point." I said kissing her forehead. "I'll teach you to say what your eyes scream and that there is nothing impossible, though you also have to teach that to me."

She smiled and snuggled against me. She turned her body to where the window was. The sunrise was almost over and everything was in a deep silence and the smell of summer and flowers was in the air. My eyelids began to weigh too much to try to keep away. Emma's warm body next to mine. I hugged her tightly. Then sleep overcame me and my eyes closed. While I heard her whispering "I love you. Please don't let me fall."
