Zayn's pov
Ten months later

The wedding bells began to ring as I got more and more nervous each second that passed.
The church fell silent and we all sat down waiting for the doors to open and for the wedding to begin.

I looked over at Adam as he wiped the sweat of his forehead. He was probably even more nervous than me if that was possible.

"You okay?" Louis asked.

"Hopefully I will be" I replied as he patted me on the shoulder.

The wedding bells stopped and the doors opened as we stood up.
I had been to plenty of weddings before but I couldn't for my life remember when the maid of honor would walk out she would probably stay with Stephanie for as long as she could.

The last post card I got from Lola was from France. She wrote that we would see each other on the wedding and that she now was back for good. I had so many question for her but I couldn't reach her since her address was changing all the time as she traveled to new places and she had a new phone which number I didn't have.

The classical wedding music began to play and the bridesmaids walked out. One, two, I counted knowing that the next one who walked out would be Lola.

I think my heart literally shipped a beat when I saw her. She was tanned and had cut her hair shorter was the thing I noticed that was different.
I gasped as she walked closer and passed me.
She was wearing a long grey dress that was crossed in the back so she showed a lot of skin which made me have to adjust my pants.

"We are gathered here today to witness  Adam Hill and Stephanie Parker as they exchange vows of their everlasting love"

I know you're supposed to face all your attention to the bride and groom but in my case I had my eyes only on the maid of honor.
She suddenly turned her head and looked directly at me then she smiled a smile that reached her eyes and winked discreet at me before she turned her focus back to Adam and Stephanie.

After that I kind of spaced out only to find myself confused when the wedding suddenly was over and we all started to cheer as the new Mr and Mrs Hill walked out hand in hand.

We went outside did the whole "throw rice" thing, took pictures and then headed to the wedding reception where I hoped I would get a chance to talk to Lola if she wasn't to busy with Stephanie.

During dinner I was seated far away from Lola and their families but I did my best to enjoy the dinner and get to know some of Adam's friends.

As the night began to fall, the wedding began to slow down and people was starting to slow dance.

"Care to join me for a dance?" I asked and remembered that I had used those words before asking Lola out for lunch when we just had met.

"I thought you didn't dance" She answered with a smirk.

"For you I'll make an exception" I replied as she put her hand in mine and walked out on the dance floor.

"Wanna do it like they did in middle school?" Lola asked as I let out a small laugh.

"What other way is there" I replied and put my arms around her waist as she put her hand on my neck we began to dance to the beat of Ed Sheeran's smooth voice.

"Beautiful wedding huh?" She stated as I nodded.

"I saw you crying up there" I said as she playfully hit me.
