Chapter eight

The last time I saw Zayn was a few weeks ago. He had tried to call me a couple of times but I didn't answer, what could he possibly have to say to me? Anyway I just wanted to put all this behind me and move on so I tried my best to forget him by diving into my schoolwork.

It was Monday and I had just finished my first class of the day and had two hole hours before my next class started. I felt like being alone so I tried my best not to be seen when I hurried through campus.

"Hey Lola wait up!"

I kept walking hoping that the person wanted another Lola and not me.

"Lola Rodes"

Well damn! I thought and turned around to face Logan Smith.

Logan Smith a couple years older than me and was pretty much everybody's dream guy he was handsome, rich (if you think money is important which I don't) but he was also a total douce bag and known to cheat on every girl he was with.

"Do I know you?" I asked since he never had exchanged a single word with me, too unpopular I guess not that I cared about that stuff at all.

"We just had Spanish together"

"Sorry I guess I most have been so focused on learning how to say "pillow" in Spanish that I didn't notice you" I said sarcastically.

"Well I'm Logan" He said ignoring my sarcasm and gave me a charming smile.

"Nice to meet you" I responded and continued walking.

"Anyway I was wondering if you'd like to have coffee with me sometime?" Logan asked and took me totally by surprise.

"Why?" I couldn't help but ask I wasn't precisely his type unless he wanted help with our Spanish project. I was a geek, a total bookworm and he was on of the popular ones who probably never had opened a book.

"I want to get to know you better"

Translation: I want to have sex with you.

But since would do anything to get my mind of Zayn I decided to accept.

"Sure, I got two hours before my next class anyway so why not now?"

"Me too so let's go"

When our kind of "date" was about to end I was practically sitting on his lap with my lips attached to his making out.

I didn't actually like him I just wanted him to stop talking. Basically through our hole "date" he did nothing but talking about sports, parties, girls and money and I wasn't interested in any of those things.

"Wow Lola, you're feisty" Logan said when I pulled away.

"Thanks..,I think" I responded and took my books.

"We need to do this again sometime" He said with a smirk.

"Absolutely"

Never again I thought to myself as I walked out from Starbucks.

On my way back to campus I thought I saw Zayn pretty near the coffee shop but I hoped I was wrong. I really didn't want to see him and he probably didn't want to see me either since our almost kiss.

When Perrie told me they were engaged it was like everything fell into place. The reason he didn't want to hug me after our lunch was because he was engaged, the reason he didn't want to get personal was because he was engaged...., and many more things could be brought back to the fact that he was engaged. I couldn't help but wonder, why didn't he just tell me that he was engaged?

(A/N) No Zayn in this chapter sorry, but in the upcoming chapters he will be in the story a lot.
