At eight am sharp my alarm went on. Today was the day, Stephanie and I was going home to Oxford.

Zayn and I woke up, I woke up Stephanie who didn't want to leave her bed, ate breakfast, got dressed, brushed our teeth and hair and then at half past nine we were ready to go.

"So does Adam know that you're going away?" I asked Stephanie on the way down to our car.

"Yes but I don't think he will come and say goodbye"

"I'll agree to disagree" I said and nodded at Adam who was leaning against our car.

"Adam! I'm so sorry it was my fault"
She screamed as she dropped her bags and ran into his arms.

"No it was my fault I'm sorry baby"

" I'm like a relationship fixer" Zayn said as he came up too me and kissed my cheek.

So since Zayn and Adam were
friends Zayn had talked to him and obviously fixed everything between them.

"Thank god, now I won't hear her going on and on about him"

"I don't think she will stop talking about him just because they're good again" He said and nodded at them, of course they were making out.

"Steph come on we need to leave, you can't be drunk in love when you're driving" I said and laughed hysterically at my own joke.

"Alright" She said before she got in the car.

I hugged Zayn tight and kissed him passionately on his lips before I had to let go.

"I'll miss you" I said and opened the car door.

"Lola, I lo.., I'll miss you too" He mumbled and looked down at his shoes.

"Lola he was about to say I love you" Stephanie said when we had left the garage.

"No he wasn't" I answered but the truth was I thought that too.

"Anyway it doesn't matter because he didn't say it" I continued.

"It matters because maybe he's afraid of saying it because he don't think you'll say it back, do you love him?"

"Yes" I responded as I blushed.

"Then tell him"

"Oh Stephanie honey I've missed you much" Stephanie's mum Catherine screamed happily when we got out of the car.

My family and Stephanie's family had always lived next to each other that's the reason we got to know each other because we were neighbors. Stephanie's family lived in the yellow house and my family in the white house next to it.

"Stephanie my darling, did the trip go well" Steph's dad Eric asked and hugged us both tight.

"Everything went great" I responded as Stephanie hugged her mother again.

"So where are my parents?"

"Lola dear you're parents had to work today, I'm sorry" Catherine said and I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.

"Oh it's okey, I'll just go and pack up then"

"Oh no you're gonna eat lunch with us" Eric said and started walking into the kitchen.

My parents were both professors in english on Oxford university so they had always worked a lot. Unlike Stephanie's parents who always worked from nine am to five pm.

"So Lola you're nineteen now, happy late birthday" Catherine said and put a salad on the table.

"Thank you" I responded and Stephanie rolled her eyes.

"And Stephanie how are things with Adam?"

"Really dad? You're asking me about my boyfriend?"

"Weird?"

"Weird"

"So where's Amanda?" I asked and Steph hit my foot under the table.

"She will be home any minute now" Catherine said and as on que the door opens.

"I'm home!"

"Oh god" Steph mumbled and now it was my turn to hit her under the table.

"OMG!!! HI S!! HI L!!!!" Amanda screams and hugged us both like we've been friends for ever.

"Hi Amanda" I greeted and Steph gave her a quick nod.

"So what have you girls been up to lately" She asked and sat down at the table.

"Nothing much" I said as Steph rolled her eyes at everything her sister said.

"Mum!! Stephanie is being mean" Amanda whined.

"What are you gonna do about it? Cry?" Stephanie responded and with those words our lunch turned in to the world war three.

Meanwhile I just sat there and felt kind of awkward in the situation and wanted the fight to be over.

(A/N) So in the next chapters you will get to know Lola more and I got a lot planned.
