Three years later
Stephanie's pov

"So we need new curtains for the kitchen" Lola said as she walked around in the curtain store.

"What do you think? Eggshell? White? Maybe more of a creamy white?" She asked and showed me different types of curtains that was supposed to be in different colors, they all looked the same to me.

"I mean our kitchen is white but Logan likes it that way so maybe I should go with creamy white just to get in some color?" Lola continued as I continued to roll my eyes.

"Are you seriously asking me this?" I asked with raised eyebrows.

"Yeah you're right I should go with white just to be safe" She mumbled and went to pay.

"Hey wanna go for coffee?" I asked as we went out from the store.

"Oh I'm sorry I can't I have a pedicure in half an hour and a Pilates class at two"

"So you just dragged me with to look at curtains?" I asked a bit irritated.

"I figured since we hardly ever see each other this was better than nothing" Lola replied and put a perfectly curled string of hair behind her ear.

"Oh I wonder who's fault that is" I mumbled as a peak to her, because it was Lola's fault nowadays she was always busy.

"I'm sorry Steph it will get better, these curtains is the last fix of our house and then it's done for our "moving in" get together on Saturday"

Really she couldn't even say party?

"You'll be there right?"

"Yes both Adam and I will be there" I replied and was still surprised that she didn't cringe every time I said Adam's name.

"Perfect"

It made me sad to think of how much Lola had changed in these past years, I barely recognize her.

Lola graduated college last year with perfect grades and a job at Logan's dads firm (which I guess was Logan's now) after that she moved in with him and that's when she apparently didn't have time for me anymore.

Everything about her had changed. She dressed differently, only in label clothes since Logan was rich she was rich. She always wore makeup to cover up every flaw she had, she worked out and never ate anything unhealthy. She was always supposed to be perfect and I think she didn't mind and now wanted to be perfect.

Lola said she had changed to the better but I wasn't sure about that. In my opinion she had changed to fit into Logan's life and his idea of a perfect life and perfect girlfriend.

"No no no no no quick get in here" Lola suddenly  said and pushed me into some kind of music store.

She peaked out the window and sighed.

"What the hell was that?" I asked as I rubbed my arm, damn she was strong.

"Would you look at this....eh.. electric guitar" She nervously said and pointed at a base.

"That's a base" I said as Lola bit her lip, yep she was lying she always but her lip when she was lying.

"It's really pretty" Lola mumbled.

"Why are you lying to me?"

"I'm not, shit keep quiet" She said and put a hand over my mouth and dragged my further into the store to the speakers.

"Lola what are you doing?" I whispered as Lola continued put a finger over her mouth to make me shut up.

"Don't say a word" She whispered.

"This is the newest speaker which is perfect for recording studios"  We heard a man who probably worked here say.

"No he's coming this way" I whispered as Lola swore under her breath.

"How good is it with high notes?" I heard a familiar voice ask.

So that's why she wanted to hide.
