April 16th
She knew

It hit her like a punch in the stomach.

She didn't know how, but somehow she just knew.

They weren't coming back.

This was their last time in Narnia.

It seemed Edmund had realised at almost the same time as her as well, and he instantly placed a reassuring hand on her shoulder.

Lucy hardly knew what to do as Reepicheep disappeared from their view, and her heart was pounding in her chest.

She took a deep, shaky breath, so many emotions washing over her all at once, but there was one she couldn't ignore.

Acceptance.

She knew this day would come, and maybe, in some way, she had accepted that.

It was Aslan's will.

And what Aslan said, Lucy would never, ever question.

So, putting on a brave face, she took another deep breath and turned to The Lion.

"This is our last time here, isn't it?"
