A wholesome oneshot to balance out the other 2.

.....Well, as wholesome as it can be with the context. UwU

Ah, you might be asking, what is that title? Well......Theres a closet involved. So. I thought it'd be fun to make it- you know what- read and you'll understand.

(ALSO I AM SO SORRY ALL OF THE IDEAS I HAVE ARE LITERALLY HUMAN AUS I WANT TO STOP BUT I CAN'T I AM A FOOL)

Context: (Human....Teenager?) Everyone knows siblings can suck, but when it's Polakov? He throws that word out the window. (Paris's personality again, might change to fit an actual teen.) REQUESTS: OPEN

".....You sure it's safe to come in here?"

"Yes. I literally saw him leave through the front door," Paris reassured me, opening a few drawers. "He won't come back anytime soon."

I hesitantly nod, moving to join him at the bed. "What exactly did Polakov steal from you again?"

He roughly sighs, clearly frustrated. "He stole one of my books. I know it's just a pile of pages, but it's....something important to me."

"A book can be just as important as a diamond. I'm not going to judge," I smile, kneeling down to look under Polakov's bed.

Lifting the blankets up, I internally frown at how organized it was underneath. Is everyone in this family neat freaks?

...Well, maybe except Ivan.

"Anything under there?"

"Not that I can see." Pulling myself out from under the bed, I decide to start crawling to the other side. Who knows what I missed?

"Well, where else can it-" He stops, panic laced in his eyes as he turns towards the door. "Polakovs back. He'll kill me if he sees that I'm in here."

"Huh?! How do you know that? Besides, he just left, you said tha-"

"I've lived around him long enough to know when he's nearby," Paris grabs for my hand, pulling me up to my feet. "He'll immediately spot us if we leave..."

After a quick moment, he points towards the closet. "Let's go hide in here." I just sigh, letting him drag us over to it before stepping inside, shutting the door.

......There's hardly any space in here!

Not to mention, it's freaking dark. Rapidly blinking, I struggle to adjust to the sudden lack of light while fumbling around the rack of clothes. Bumping into what seems to be Paris, I squeak.

"Sorry.."

"It's fine. Ah, fuck, we'll just have to sit down or something," He scowls, pushing the clothing back before moving to lean against the wall. "Can you see if you can sit next to me?"

"There's no room," I hiss back.

"Then lay down on me or something! God, this closet is so small-"

We both freeze, hearing muffled footsteps come into the room. Scrambling to follow Paris's orders, I lay down, twisting my body in a way so our legs could both lay down on the floor, my arms awkwardly layed against Paris.

.....This sucks.

Feeling hands on my back, I start to squirm at the sudden contact, the fingers already moving to hold me down in place.

.....Has he always been this warm?

I internally sigh, heat rushing to my face. What is this position, anyway? This is just plain embarrassing! I wonder, is Paris embarrassed too?

I feel my eyes drift upwards, trying to see if I can make out his expression. But, alas, it was too dark. Too bad.

I must've seemed uncomfortable or something, because Paris shifted a bit to pull me into a hug, listening to Polakov mutter and move around outside the closet.

...It's kinda warm and comfy.

Ah. I'm tired. Smiling, I nuzzle into his shirt, just giving up on all efforts to be awake. Closing my eyes, I drift into a dream.

A dream where we weren't in a small, stuffy closet, and instead doing something much more favorable.

.....And maybe have more hugs.

"....ake up."

"....(Y/N)? Wake up. I still can't believe you were able to sleep in here..."

"..Mm?" I blink, confused. Where am I again? I yawn, shifting a bit. "What happened?"

"What happened is you fell asleep on top of me," Paris sighed, brushing his fingers through my hair. "I didn't even know you were alseep until a few minutes ago."

"I didn't either. All I know is that I'm in a closet and my legs are numb," I laugh, pushing myself off of Paris. "Oh, and that you're in here with me. Wait, actually, what about Polakov? Isn't he-"

"He left a few minutes ago. I'm pretty sure we've been in here for about half an hour." He sighed. "We wasted so much time in here....we could've been doing something much more enjoyable, and for that, I'm sorry."

"Aw, don't be sorry. You never woulda guessed that we would spend our time in a small closet. Besides, it wasn't all bad."

"What do you mean?"

I grin. "Well, for one, I got a free nap. And two....I got a free hug from you."

He snorted. "What's so special about a hug?"

"Well, if it's from you, then yeah!" I insist. "You do realize that you're not the type of person whos full of affection, right?"

He seemingly shrugged. "I just don't see why so many people yearn for them. It's not a big deal." Moving an arm past me, he pushed the door open, grunting in surprise when the both of us fell out at once.

"I wasn't expecting that."

"Not surprised though. That closet was not big enough to fit even one person," I huff, scrambling to get up before stretching my limbs out, sighing in relief.

"Are we going to keep looking for your book?"

"....Nah. Let's just go back to my room. I think we've spent enough time here." He grabbed my hand again, wasting no time in getting to his room.

Closing the door shut, I turn around just in time to see Paris drop onto his bed. Holding back a laugh, I stroll over to the tired teen, hopping onto his bed with ease.

"Is it your turn for a nap?" I tease, and he just sighed in return, turning towards me.

Then, grinning, he pulled me down with him, receiving a yelp from me. Making sure I wasn't going to escape, he wrapped his arms around my waist, closing the distance between us.

"Maybe I do see the big deal about hugs."

"Yes!" I hear a laugh. "..Actually....I'm still pretty tired. Can we just sleep here?"

He paused. Then, with a sigh, "..Why not."

Giggling, I turn my body towards him, burying my face into his shoulder. "Goodnight then."

"Ha...what a strange person.."
