I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

I shivered as I felt his anger but still didn't open my eyes... "OPEN YOUR EYES DAMN IT..." HE asked me being frustrated by my behaviour... I slowly open my eyes and meet with a beautiful pair of eyes...a pair of dark brown beautiful yet dangerous eyes... "ARE YOU OKAY, WIFEY???" ___#___ It's a story about a dangerous,cold, ruthless, arrogant mafia and a sweet, innocent orphan girl who are bond with each other under circumstances. This is my first book...I don't know why I'm doing this torture to you guys... English is not my first language.There are many grammatical errors.I hope you guys will help me about that. All the characters are imaginary and story is mine . If someone find my story similar to theirs then I'm sorry.It' must be a coincidence.I don't own any of pictures I have used in my book..All the credits goes to their respective owners.. pardon me for my mistakes🙏

"We are here with you." She said and hugged me with gentleness. My shoulder sagged in relief as I hugged her back. She broke the hug and caressed my hair. "You know her?" Ryan asked, confusion evident in his voice. Wow!!! He never showed his emotion in public. Maybe his family being here made him act like a normal guy!! "Yes. I gave her photo to you after your meeting yesterday." His father said as he came by my side and patted my back. I gave him a small smile. I had never met him and his wife before, but the closeness between him and and my father was evident by the way his forehead held creases and by the tension all over his face. Still he was making me feel like a daughter to him. "Which photo?" He asked and suddenly the realization crossed his eyes. "Is she-" "The one you will be marrying Ryan. She is your soon-to-be wife." His father declared as he looked at me with shock. "Did you know that?" He said, his face void of any emotion. I nodded while looking anywhere but him. He cursed under his breath and his mother was about to scold him for that when he looked at me in anger and frustration. I gulped.
