Being Harry Potter's older sister is an interesting experience to say the least. I've grown up with the same abuse as he did, the same feeling of uselessness as he did.
Then I started going to hogwarts, I met the Twins, Fred and then George. After knowing them for a couple years it seemed impossible that I had met them at different times. They're always together.

I went up to the sorting hat and waited patiently. It was taking a while and I could tell it was getting boring for everyone.
"I have made my decision. Gryffindor!" It called out.
The Gryffindor's cheered as I smiled and sat at the table next to another girl.
After everyone was sorted, I started waking with the others to our common room.
Halfway there, a ginger boy came up to me.
"Hi. I'm Fred."
"Hi Fred, my name is-"
"Y/n. I remember. I was wondering if you wanted to be friends." He smiled at me.
"Yeah sure." I smiled back. "Do you know anyone here?"
"No. It's just me and my brother George."
I nodded and he asked me the same question.
"No. You're the only person I know. I didn't even know I was a wizard until I got my letter."
"Wow, I could teach you some stuff, basics I learned from my older brother."
"That would be great."
Later that night I saw Fred on the couch in the common room.
"Hey, can't sleep?" I asked sitting next to him.
"Uh, no not really."
"How come?"
"I guess I just miss my mom and my family. I've never really been away from them."
I put my hand on his arm. "I understand. Is there anything I can do?"
"There is a song my mom would sing to me when I couldn't sleep."
"What is it?"
He told me the song and I started singing it softly.
His eyes started drifting together and slowly they shut.
"Goodnight Freddie."

Year 5 the Triwizard Tournament. Harry was competing and I was nervous.
"It'll be okay darling, Harry can handle himself."
"Then why'd you bet me 10 galleons he'd lose." George smirked.
I glared at Fred before going to the lake.
I stood next to Ginny.
"Hey, Harry is gonna do perfect. I know he will." She smiled.
"You have a thing for my brother." I smiled.
"you have a thing for mine." She raised her eyebrows.
"Point taken."
Fred and George joined us again.
We watched and waited as Harry and the others, one by one came up to the surface.
I hugged Harry and they gave him second place.
Later that night after the celebration, I found Fred in the common room.
"Can't sleep?" I asked, sitting next to him.
"No. I don't know what it is but I just can't." He sounded really tired.
I moved closer to him and we laid down, his head laying on my chest. I started lightly singing and humming our song. Well, his moms song.
He looked up at me and it just kind of happened. We both leaned towards each other and kissed. It was absolutely magical.
"Goodnight y/n." He whispered.
"Goodnight Freddie." I kissed the top of his head and we drifted to sleep.
The next morning I woke up and he was gone. I went back to my room and changed into my uniform for the day.
We had the first class of the day together so I knew I'd see him.
I sat down in my seat and waited for him, when he finally came in he sat next to Angelina. In that moment I could physically feel my heart breaking. Towards the end of class, George sat next to me. "Why is he sitting with her?"
"I don't know. I don't want to talk about it."
"He'd be much better off with you." He spoke.
"I don't know. He needs someone who makes him happy."
"You do make him happy."
"Not like she does. Maybe it just wasn't meant to be. I mean did I actually think he'd like me back?" I nervously laughed right before the bell rang and I ran to the bathrooms.
I skipped the next class and went to the library to see Harry.
"Harry. Hey how are you doing?" I asked him.
"I'm okay. Nervous but okay. How about you?"
"Fred and I kissed last night and now he's ignoring me and talking to Angelina."
"Talk to him about it like a healthy friendship."
"But what if it ruins things?"
"Go for George." He joked.
"Very funny. Good luck!"
I went to Fred's room and waited for him.
"Y/n what are you doing here?" He asked hesitantly.
"We need to talk about last night whether you want to or not."
"It was a mistake y/n."
"Was it Freddie? Because honestly I don't see it as that. I- I love you Fred and I know you like Angelina but I'm asking you to please-"
Freddie was roughly kissing my lips as his hand rested on my throat. I got butterflies in my stomach.
George walked in "only took 5 years."
"George, get out!" Fred threw a pillow at him causing George and I to laugh.
Fred looked down at me, my back against his bed with him hovering over me.
"I love you, y/n"
I smiled and pulled him down to kiss him. "
