The sound of my Mom knocking at the door made me groan as I kicked the sheets away and stood up.
"What Mom? I don't have to go to work until evening" I shouted as my mom continued knocking.
Sighing, I stood up and walked to the door, opening it.
"Wha- why are you all dressed up?" I asked, confused to see her dressed up in her purple floral dress.
"We are going to meet your future husband's family" Mom shrugged as my eyes widened.
"Is this some kind of joke, but I don't find this funny at all?" I raised my eyebrow when Jackson suddenly popped out from behind Mom.
"No it is not! See, I am already dressed too!" He said excitedly as I glared at him.
"But, I-I though-"
"Jimin, it's been two weeks. I think I've given you enough time and the limit has reached. You are getting ol-"
"I'm not!" I whined as she rolled her eyes. After than 1 whole week of going on dates, Mom didn't compel me to marry. She gave me another week to relax, and maybe try to find someone for myself...but I didn't.
"YOU ARE ABOUT TO TURN 30!" She shouted as I groaned in annoyance. "Go take a bath, spray body scent all over you, dress up to impress. Now go! Jackson, go help him. If you do, I will cook you, your favourite" Mom ordered as Jackson excitedly nodded and pushed me in, closing the door behind.
"What now?" I ask him as he rolled his eyes and pushed me into the bathroom.
"Fast! Take a bath. I will choose your outfit" he grinned as I sighed.
"Are we really going to do this?" I asked as he nodded.

"I hate this already" I mumbled as I sat in the backseat of my mom's car.
Jackson was busy chatting with my Mom about some recipe that he saw on internet.
"I am sure Ka-yee is going to marry his food in the future" I mumbled as Jackson turned to me with a grin.
"Maybe".
"Bitch".

My eyes scanned the restaurant, searching for my future 'husband'.
I think I should make him run off and create a bad image in front of his parents, so that they will reject me.

"There!" Mom excitedly said as she dragged me to the table near the glass wall.
A man, younger than me, is sitting there with a smile, beautiful purple flowers in his hand.

"Good Morning. Sorry for making you wait" Mom smiled as he stood up and bowed. He turned to me and smiled.
