So I was still standing in front of the door , staring at this beautiful mixed girl. I was nervous and sweaty . I stood still like robocop. Didn't even know what to say to her.
"Uhm Helloooo? Anybody home?" She said as she chuckled at me. I finally had the guts to say something.
"Uhm Hi... I-I am... my name is Ermias.." I kept stuttering
"Hi Ermias.Nice to meet you. My name is Lana."
Her voice was so damn fine. My heart was pumping like crazy. She held out her hand for a handshake , but I was too stu
"Uhm... okay" she put her hand away
"Can I help you with anything? are you okay?" She asked me with that fine voice of hers
"Uhm , I just wanted to... to... to...uhm welcome you to the neighborhood...." I couldn't stop speaking nervously.
"Thank you. How did you know that I'm new?" She asked with a smile
"I saw you at school." I mumbled
"Are you stalking me?" She raised her eyebrow.
I widened my eyes and said "What? No , I...
"Relax! I'm just kidding. So you go to Compton high?"
"Uhm yeah.." I nodded my head and slightly smiled.
"Interesting. Guess I'll be seeing you around.
" I really hope you do." I said with a slight smile.now it's time for the big question
"Uhm listen ... I know it's way too early to be asking such , but can I have your number?" I asked her whilst scratching the back of my hand.
"Woah , You don't waste time , do you? Go straight for the kill."
"Pshh it ain't like that , man. I just find you interesting and I'd like to know you better." I think my confidence was starting to build up.
"Well Alright, Muy bien, te daré mi número" She spoke
I gave her a confused look "I'm sorry. what?" I said and she chuckled
"I said I'll give you my number , Silly. I need to teach you Spanish."
"Anytime is tea time ,And don't worry cause I'm a fast learner."
"We'll see about that. Gimme your phone , Ermias."
I passed her my phone and she put her number in.
"Alright. I'll see you around , Lana." I said with a weird ass smile
"Later, Ermias."
She closed the door and walked out of the yard. I felt like a dawg ass nigga when I got them numbers. I approached
"So? Did you get them?" YG asked
"Was there ever any doubt?" I said proudly
"You must be tripping . Lemme see."
I showed him the numbers on my phone and he couldn't believe it.
"Bullshit. No way those are her real numbers" he snatched my phone away from my hand
"Let's call them and find out."
"What you think you're doing!?" I said as snatched the phone back from him.
"I can't call her now. She's gonna think I'm weird. I'll just have to wait for tonight."
"Whatever , Nigga. I still don't think they're real though." He said
"Then you can suck my balls , nigga."
"Look who's acting like an OG , swearing and all shit."
"I know. Doesn't suit me. You're a bad influence by the way."
"What are friends for , Nigga?" He said with a smirk. He's phone started to ring and he took it out.
"Yo Chino , Whassup?" He said onto the phone
"Ayt , I'm on my way." He hung up and put his phone away
"Ayt Nigga , duty calls. I'll see you tomorrow."
We did our secret handshake and he hopped onto his bike
"You really gotta stop hanging around that man. He's bad news..."
"For this life , I cannot change , Nipsey. Peace out."
He rode off with his bike and left the Cul-de-sac. I did the same with my blue bike and went home.
Later that day...
I got inside the house and found Lisa watching cartoons. I sneaked up on her from behind and scared her. She screamed and hit me with a throw pillow
"Ermias! That's not funny! daddy!She said as she ran straight out of the living room and went upstairs.
She was always a daddy's little girl , But whatever. I sat on the couch and took my phone out. I scrolled through my contacts until I found Lana's number
Ermias : Hey Lana. It's Ermias
I sent her the text and waited patiently for her reply....... it eventually hit 8pm and still no text back from Lana.... maybe YG was right ... maybe she really did give me fake numbers .... I feel like such a dumb ass right now.....
