Corrin: They're getting closer... Wait, the leader of that group... Is that... Takumi?!
Sakura: Wh-What?! I-It can't be!
Hinoka: It certainly does look like Takumi... But how is that possible? I don't think he's ever been seen with purple fire before...
Corrin: Something is seriously wrong... There are other soldiers with him. They look like they're invisible aside from the fire surrounding them. I don't understand...
Hinoka: I guess that we'll just have to figure out how to snap him out of it!
Sakura: Ah-! The daimyo is gone!
Corrin: We can worry about him later! For now, we need to make sure Takumi is okay!
(Your units start where they ended the previous battle. All Dragon Veins that have been activated are in effect as well. Takumi's forces are all on the left side of the battlefield. The objective is to endure for eight turns or defeat the boss. Frequent reinforcements come in from all sides except the right)
(Start of turn one)
Takumi: Kill...
Corrin: Takumi, please! Snap out of it!
Takumi: I am alone... Forgotten... Ignored...
Sakura: Takumi, stop that!
Takumi: I will finally... Step out of the shadows... And show them what I'm really made of... I will be left behind no longer... They will pay...
(The battle begins properly)
(Corrin initiates combat with Takumi)
Corrin: Takumi, please listen to us! We don't want to hurt you!
Takumi: Die... You could... You could have killed Mother...
Corrin: T-Takumi, I... I'm really sorry for what happened. I know that words will never be enough after what I've done to you and our siblings. I want to make it better, but I know that I can't. At the very least, I want to be a loving sibling to you in hopes it will somehow make it up to you, even just a little! I'm sorry for everything!
Takumi: Die... Die... Die!
(Hinoka initiates combat with Takumi)
Hinoka: Takumi, snap out of it!
Takumi: Die... Die... Die...
Hinoka: What's gotten into you?! Come on, it's me!
Takumi: I am nothing to you... Eternally unloved... Never good enough...
Hinoka: Takumi, I don't want to fight you!
Takumi: Die!
(Sakura initiates combat with Takumi)
Sakura: I-I don't know what's going on with you! P-Please, turn back to normal! We love you!
Takumi: Lies... All lies...
Sakura: I-I could never lie to you! None of us could!
Takumi: Die... Die...
Sakura: I-I'm so sorry... I'm sorry, Takumi...
(Oboro initiates combat with Takumi)
Takumi: Die...
Oboro: Lord Takumi, I know that you're in there somewhere!
Takumi: Die... Die...
Oboro: I understand that we'll only be able to snap you out of it if we fight... With that said, I'm sorry for what I have to do now.
(Hinata initiates combat with Takumi)
Hinata: Man, Lord Takumi, what the hell happened to you?!
Takumi: Die... Die... Die...
Hinata: I guess it's up to me to get you out of this then. Sorry if you end up with any bruises!
(The battle ends)
Corrin: He still isn't responding! I don't know what we should do now!
???: I have this all under control.
(Azura appears and sings the first verse of Lost in Thoughts All Alone)
Corrin: Azura!
Takumi: Ugh... Hurts...
Azura: Takumi, can you hear me? Gods, he looks ready to collapse!
Takumi: Azura...? What's going on...?
Corrin: Oh, Takumi! I'm so glad to see that you're okay!
(if Hinata is alive and in your army)
Hinata: Phew! I'm glad you're back to normal!
(if Oboro is alive and in your army)
Oboro: I won't let anything happen to you again!
Sakura: Brother! I-I'm so happy you're okay!
Hinoka: You have no idea how worried we were.
Takumi: If you don't mind my asking, what happened?
Corrin: You mean... You don't remember?
Takumi: Not really. Last thing I remember, I was fighting near the border. We were between Hoshido and Nestra. I remember getting hit by something and falling. After that... Nothing. I don't even know where we are.
Sakura: We're in Mokushu now.
Takumi: I sure did go a long way...
Hinoka: Well, you're here now. We can at least be thankful for that.
Corrin: I wish I knew what happened to you, but I'm too relieved to see you safe to worry about it too much.
Takumi: What... What did I do? Are... Are those arrow wounds?!
Hinoka: D-Don't worry about it. We can explain it later...
Sakura: A-Azura, when did you arrive in Mokushu? I thought you were looking after Mother...
Azura: Yukimura told me to come and travel with you all. We have gotten a letter from Ryoma. He's arrived in Cheve, but the situation is dire. We need to go and provide reinforcements as soon as possible.
Corrin: That sounds like a good place to head for then.
Takumi: It might be a good idea to stop in the territory of Nestra. We might be able to see about an alliance with the current ruler of the land. Nestra isn't exactly a land for fighting, but we can try and provide them shelter in exchange for their goods. It could help out the war effort considerably to have them on our side.
Azura: Nestra is a merchant land known for its goods. We can stock up on anything we might need for our journey to Cheve on the way as well.
Corrin: Sounds like a good idea.
Sakura: Plus, Nestra has many different rivers and such running through it, which means if we're lucky, we could even catch a boat that would take us to Cheve more quickly.
Corrin: That just makes it better. Let's get going then.
(The group starts walking. Corrin approaches Azura while they travel)
Corrin: So... Azura... You were with Mother, yes?
Azura: I was.
Corrin: How... How is she doing?
Azura: She's getting a lot better. She's still a bit too weak to do her regular tasks as queen, but she is making a steady recovery.
Corrin: Thank the gods... I was nervous thinking that she might end up...
Azura: I understand, but you need not concern yourself. She's doing well.
Corrin: I'm glad to hear it. I'm happy to see you too. I was hoping that we'd be able to see one another again soon.
Azura: I was hoping that I would be able to join your cause once again, and it seems my wish has been granted. I'll gladly stay by your side for the rest of the war. I'm looking forward to getting to know you more.
Corrin: I feel the same about you. I think we'll get along well in the future.
Azura: I can't help but agree.

Anyways, we start getting into the much more interesting parts next chapter. I'm excited about all of this stuff, so don't be surprised if we get another update in a few days.
