Day of Second Date,

[Signal House Living Room, 9:00 p.m.]
The residents came home later that night, couple by couple. First came in Jungkook and Jieun, who came home right after they had gone to drink and had some food. Jieun's cheeks looked slightly red and Jungkook fetched her some water from the kitchen as she flopped onto the sofa. Jungkook held her up with one arm and passed her the cup of water. She took it over gratefully and smiled at him.
Jimin and Yoojung had reached home slightly later, after grabbing dinner at a nearby Japanese restaurant. They walked into the house with their matching blue mufflers back on after they had gone somewhere to freshen up. They walked into the house, smiling and laughing, Yoojung trying to imitate some of Jimin's choreography he had shown her earlier. The two of them said hi to the first two and sat on the sofa as well. Jungkook spotted the two of them and sighed a little, not noticeable to anyone but the camera. A while later, Seokjin and Suran walked in, talking about sugar gliders, fortune-telling and soondae. They waved to the other members and sat in the sofa as well. A little while later, Yoongi and Byulyi walked into the room, more liked staggered into the room. Byulyi was evidently drunk - her face was flushed and she had her arm around Yoongi's neck. Suran looked at them, a blank expression on her face. Byulyi's bag was hung around Yoongi's neck as well, as he tried to help her keep her balance. He looked at the other residents for help as he walked into the living room and Seokjin and Yoojung immediately rushed forward to help.

J-Hope: Oh no... not again! Another drunk incident? Really?!
[Signal House Living Room, 9:30 p.m.]
Byulyi: Leave... me... alone! I'm fine... I'm not... drunk!
Byulyi sauntered over to the sofa and sat right next to Yoongi, smiling at him in a drunk manner. She turned to the other members suddenly.
Byulyi: How... were... your dates?
Seokjin was about to reply, but Byulyi answered her own question. She smiled at Yoongi, her face inching closer to his. Yoongi just faced forward, taking a sip of water.
Byulyi: Today was... so fun! Not like the first... We climbed mountains... Held hands...
She clasped her hands together and showed it to her housemates. Suran and Seokjin's eyes widened. Yoongi remained expressionless.
Byulyi: Ate soondae... it was... great!
Then Byulyi passed out, onto Yoongi. Suran seemed to frown slightly and Seokjin's mouth was open wide from shock.

Eana: Eotteoke! I don't think I can watch this!
V was that close to hiding under the table.
[Signal House Living Room, 9:40 p.m.]
Yoojung seemed to sense the situation and jumped up, gesturing for Jimin to get up as well. And he did.
Yoojung: Jimin-oppa and I will help bring Byulyi-unnie to our room!
Yoojung and Jimin half-helped half-dragged Byulyi to her room upstairs. Jieun and Jungkook somehow started yawning at the same moment (though it sounded really fake).
Jieun: I'm really tired, I gotta go!
Jungkook: Me too, gotta get up early tomorrow!
Jieun and Jungkook walked off, leaving only Yoongi, Suran and Seokjin in the living room. The three of them stared awkwardly at each other for a while, but Suran seemed to make up her mind and got up. But Yoongi grabbed onto her wrist.
Yoongi: Wait- Suran,
Suran looked back down at Yoongi, who was seated on the chair. In her eyes, he could see disbelief, defencelessness and... hurt. Yoongi looked back at her, trying to convey his sincerity through his eyes.
Yoongi: Look- I can explain.
Suran looked away and feigned a yawn.
Suran: I'm sorry, I'm pretty tired too. Maybe not tonight.
Suran broke free from Yoongi's grip and walked into her own room, closing the door lightly behind her. Yoongi was left there, his arm still partially in the air, staring at her door.

Eana: Nooooooo...
Jongshin: Why did this have to happen... twice?!
Sangmin: This wasn't as dramatic but the effect is worse - it affected two couples!
RM: The moral of the story is... never ever get drunk! If you can't control yourself... don't even drink!
V: Please, hyung. You get drunk almost ever-
RM slams his hand over V's mouth and V's subsequent laugh gets muffled.
[Signal House Living Room, 9:50 p.m.]
Seokjin and Yoongi sit on the sofa, in silence, staring at everywhere else but each other for a long time. Finally, Seokjin broke the silence.
Seokjin: You guys held hands?
Yoongi nodded. Seokjin frowned and looked directly at Yoongi.
Seokjin: Really?
Yoongi nodded and looked at Seokjin.
Yoongi: But it's not the way it sounds- We went hiking and Byulyi-noona kept falling because it was kind of steep. So I held her hand so that she wouldn't fall.
The tension in Seokjin's face seemed to fade. He looked kind of... relieved?
Seokjin: Ah... I see.
Seokjin hesitated.
Seokjin: Do you wanna know what we did today?
Yoongi shrugged.
Seokjin: We went to eat soondae-guk.
Yoongi glanced at Seokjin, waiting for him to elaborate.
Seokjin: I think she thought you were going to be your date, Yoongi. She said soondae was your favourite food.
Yoongi bit his lower lip.
Seokjin: You know, you may not have done it purposely but Suran-noona is probably pretty disappointed right now.
Seokjin smiled sadly at Yoongi.
Seokjin: By the way, just now what did you say? "Suran"? Suran-noona doesn't even let me call her that.
Seokjin got up from his seat and patted Yoongi on the shoulder.
Seokjin: Think about it, alright?
Seokjin walked off, leaving Yoongi sitting alone in the living room. Yoongi sighed, leaned back and closed his eyes.

Jongshin: Our "manner mediator" has made his comeback!
Sangmin: That was really nicely done. But I think Seokjin-ssi looked kind of weird also? He looked the most shocked by Byulyi-ssi's actions other than Suran-ssi.
Jaewoong sighs.
Jaewoong: I heard it's an individual question today... it's going to be so hard!
