When Daniel turns ON his laptop, the wallpaper flashed in front of Christine eyes, gave her a shock, it was the same haunting image that she once had in her dreams, although the vision she had been more terrifying and frightening she didn't know how to react, her mind took her back to her dream that haunted vision where for she saw him.... the shadow broke for the first time, she was brought to reality when Daniel spoke something, which she didn't catch since she was deeply lost in thoughts, so she gave him a confused look and Daniel spoke again "Dante's vision of hell" to which Christine gave him a questing look, because she doesn't have any idea what he was talking about, but interested to know about it, because for the every first time she found someone who can indirectly yet, can provide some information about her weird dreams, so she signaled him to proceed "this image is known as The Map of Hell, it is Dante's vision of hell, Dante's work solidified the abstract concept of hell, it was terrifying vision which could give goosebumps to anyone who sees it, although it was painted by an Italian, Sandro Botticelli"
"then why would you save such terrifying images of hell as your wallpaper, for me, it doesn't make any sense, I mean whenever you open your laptop the very first view comes in front of your eyes is this terrifying haunted wallpaper" Christine voiced out her question
Daniel looked at her for few second then spoke "as you said earlier, I have a weird choice, so I guess that's your answer"
Christine open mouth to speak something, but didn't know what to say further so she decided to ditch this topic and move to some other topic, so spoke "let begin our lesson with Sinister chapel" to which Daniel nodded and open the image of Sinister Chapel from a save document on his desktop "as I told you earlier it's history and basis detail so now I'm going to explain the meaning of each of the painting drawn on the wall of the Sinister Chapel".
After that Daniel open the image of The Creation of Adam and spoke " this image illustrates the Biblical creation of human from the book of genesis in which God gives life to Adam, the first mam, the images of near touching hand of Adam and God has iconic of humanity, although this painting was further reproduced in countless imitation, The Michelangelo's Creation of Adam is more of the most perfect painting of all time", Then he moved towards the next images, the image of the image of The Last Judgment, he holds on for few seconds and look over Christine although she was too captivated in the information and images which were displayed in front of her eyes, that she didn't notice his eyes on just, when Daniel got that she didn't notice him or look at his side he just sighed and continue with his information " as you can see that the image in front of you is again something which describes the scene from Bible, it's called The Last Judgment image, it describes the second coming of Christ and the final and eternal judgment that would be made by God himself on the final day, you can see clearly see there are almost 300 figures including both male and angel shown as nude, the souls of humanity rise and descend to their fates, where they are going to judge by Christ who is surrounded by prominent saints"
This time Christine spoke looking over Daniel" what you personally think about the second coming of Christ?"
"You see Christine what I think, doesn't matter the only thing I know is that before the second coming of Christ lot of thing is going to take place, lots of events will occur, and I know soon we are going to witness this" with an unknown confine, determination and something else in his eyes which Christine was not able to point out, she tries to search Danial eyes, in order find answer, whose question were not clear in her mind, but she knew the way he indirectly point out his view about The Revelation chapter of Bible, there is definitely he knew something.
"How are you sure Daniel, I mean there are many prophesies made regarding The Revelation chapter but, it always fails, because God told himself that no one knows when will it occur not even himself" he saw at Christine eyes and few seconds she was sure she saw something...... which always attracts her towards him.... something she is trying to understand and point out, but he took a deep breath and spoke " well, I'm not sure... I just guessed it and it just slip out of my tongue" still Christine was not satisfied with his reply but, decided not to take this topic further and asked him to continue, and open the image of Separation of Light from Darkness and spoke " again this image is from The Book of Genesis, it one of five smaller scenes that alternate with four larger scenes that run along the Sistine ceiling, this image is based Genesis chapters of bible from verse 3-5, And God said LET THERE BE LIGHT, and there was light, God saw it was good, and he separated the light from the darkness and called the light Day and the dark Night........" as he was about to proceed forward Christine phone started ringing and when she looks at the screen Ella's name was flashing on it, she excuses herself and pick up the call
"I know dear, you are enjoying your date but have you seen the time, and don't forget Vincent family is not here so I'm all alone, dear?"
Christine viewed her watch then look out the window the sun has already set and soon it was going to get dark "Sorry Ella' first we went to some nearby village then he was telling me about Sistine Chapel and got lost and didn't notice the time, I will there soon, really sorry" Christine spoke fast then took a deep breath and hanged up the call, as she was about to call for Daniel to take her back she saw him already ready to go holding car keys on his hand.
They both let the apartment as they were about to enter the car someone across the road call Daniel name he excused himself with pleading, at which Christine just nodded with a smile on her face and spoke " I'll wait" and with that he cross the road, Christine was standing beside the car,viewing out the surrounding location, just when her eyes caught the glimps of someone, although it was not clear in dark and the faint building lights were not he;ping much, but somewhere inside her knew what she saw, she ran towards the shadow, but the time she reaches that spot she saw no one, she was looking here and there searching for him like a wanderer searching for shelter or bird looking for sky and soon she saw him standing across the road and without thinking she ran towards him like a lunatic, she was so lost in him that she didn't notice the car speeding towards her and it was too late for her brain to take any action she just close her eyes for the impact, but rather she felt something on one side of her shoulder which hold her tight and she moves body move around making a circle with the shield covering her body, and loud screeching sound of tyres near her and she opens her eyes just look what's going on, and what see saw made her world stop, the angelic face which she always tries to draw in her mind but fails, the face she always tries to find in crowd, the golden brown eyes which holds, pain, longing, hope and dry tears she was captivated in them and can willingly live there for whole life, but soon she was brought back to reality when someone calls her name, she looked at the person who called her, and he was no other than Daniel who has worried expression on his face and her aside the crowd and move forward and when she looks back at the one she always desires and not again, he was gone, just few second ago he was here and now he is gone, her thought were blank, she didn't know how to react or how to handle the feelings that were going inside her, soon her thoughts were cut off when Daniel reach for her and asked " are you okay", she knows she was being rude but she spoke only one thing "take me home", it seems like Daniel wanted to say something but decided not against it, so he helps Christine stand up on her feet supported her towards the passenger seat, he himself got inside the driver seat and drive her back to Vincent house, after reaching the house he opened the car door for her but she said thanks, and rush towards the front door, Ella opened the door with excitetment on her face she was just about to open her mouth by Christine cut her "I'm tired, so going to take some rest"
"okay.....but I order food from outside once it gets delivered, I'll wake you up" in confused tone, at which Christine just nodded and move towards her room once she reaches inside her room, she closed the door behind her, she got changed and lay down on her bed closing her eyes and trying to recall what just happened earlier and without knowing a drop of tear left her eyes, she opened her eyes and got near the window and sat on the edge of it viewing outside then look up at the eyes, and this time tears started flowing her eyes like rain, and questioned herself
why?.......why you came in my life when you can't be with me.
Why.... you grant me your presence when your intention is to run away from, and every word her tears were running down her face like a stream
Why.... did it become sinful to feel love, why your shadow falls on my path...why?
"Christine" a worried voice of Ella calls her name but she didn't move from her place or looked at her, so Ella move forward and took her seat beside her, she didn't speak anything just placed her hand on Christine's shoulder and it didn't even take a second for Christine to become a crying mess she hugged Ella tightly and started telling her everything that took place earlier, and when she finished telling her everything she separate her herself from Ella, then look at her eyes and spoke, "why.... why Ella why are these taking place with me, why..... I know he is real and nearby, yet, he can't see my tears..... why can't he bless me with his grace, can't he see I pray for him every day... he is real Ella he knows my pain my longing for him and somewhere I know he wants me too.....then for what he is punishing both of us, I saw pain in his eyes Ella...and I know it was for me.....then why is he distancing himself from me...why" Christine spoke with hiccup and tear, Ella didn't spoke only comb through her hair and soon without knowing Christine was drifted to sleep with tears in her eyes, when Ella saw Christine is asleep she wishper in her ear, soon everything will be okay, and with that look at the sky and spoke "please God, just want her to be happy I don't the truth but if their love is true then please bring them together" and with that she kissed Christine forehead and look outside the window.
